There is nothing I would like more than Rusev to beat Cena.
But it's John CEna. It's Wrestlemania. It's USA vs Russia.
Cena going to win.

I think a lot of the builds have been underwhelming or just plain bad but I think the matches themselves will be pretty good for the most part and that's all we'll remember after the fact. And while I'm not particularly excited going into Wrestlemania Play, I think this show has the potential to be really good.
- Orton/Rollins and the ladder match have show stealing potential if they're given enough time and they're not ruined by bad finishes.
- Mizdow winning the battle royal would be a great moment as well. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a Bryan Rumble moment where Mizdow is just a nothing elimination in the middle of the match.
- I don't think Brock/Reigns will be the trainwreck everyone thinks it will be. Even though I see no scenario where Reigns doesn't come out as champ I'm curious to see how they get there and what role, if any, Heyman plays in the match.

R-Truth getting a Wrestlemania payday in 2015.
This upsets me.

I'm just waiting for the RAW after WM. Have been for months. Yawn. Can't wait for LU on Wednesday. And TWD on Sunday. Don't even care about watching live. Haven't for months. I'll check out RAW later.... I guess. The "Senile Era" is killing me. Thank god for the alternatives.
It's a shame. There are some great wrestlers under the employ of the WWE. But this redundancy of the same matches week in and week out for the last year plus has been terrible.
I really appreciate owning a DVR during the Senile Era. This is ridiculous.
Lucha Underground figured it out. HHH figured it out... he's just waiting....
NJPW figured it out years ago.

Intrigued to see how Taker looks in the ring.
There's a bunch of pics online that Michelle McCool has posted to her social media accounts that show him looking a lot younger than he has in years and lifting very, very heavy.

One thing that is starting to get to me about Wrestlemania Play, criticisms about this show from people who continuously have to preface their criticisms by saying that they're still going to watch/attend, thus negating their entire criticism.
The tribalism of wrestling fans is so weird at times, they'll be so negative yet incredibly loyal.
Not that this show doesn't deserve it, but it makes the people making those criticisms look kind of foolish.

I don't have a problem with fans being critical, and I don't think a fan actively supporting WWE negates their criticisms. For instance, last year's WM was made better because of how vocal fans were in criticizing a Batista vs Randy Orton main event.
I think there's a difference between a fan being frustrated with certain aspects of the biggest show of the year vs the idiots who do nothing but shit on WWE and claim not to watch yet are up-to-date on everything and why it sucks.

I just don't feel the same sort of weird attachment to Wrestlemania that most fans seem to do especially in its current form. If I am excited about it, I will watch it, if I am not, I will skip it.
It's still the biggest show of the year by far but rarely does it have much to do with the rest of the WWE calendar (The biggest matches this year involve Lesnar, Sting, HHH, Undertaker, etc. guys who will likely have no regular involvement in the product after the show) so to see the most hardcore of fans continue to place so much importance on it is something I don't get. I don't think skipping it is a big deal if you aren't that enthused about the card/build to the matches but for some strange reason, that seems to be a complete no no for most.
Criticism is fine, but the absolute refusal to skip it in addition to the criticism is I guess my point of contention.

It's WM. Deal with it. If you're expecting the '80s to come back and acually provide good content, that's not your deal. It's like WWE is sick. You know it is as well as we do. It's biting your tounge until something better happens.
I'm getting depressed.

Rumble, MITB and Raw after Mania are the three biggest shows for "our" segment of fans, in my opinion, so until the day a Mania card actually reflects what transpired in the WWE the year leading up to it instead of just being filled with the biggest names they could find, I have a hard time living and dying with it.
It is what it is.

I won't be skipping this years WM but I won't be paying for it either. I don't even feel guilty about it. The way I've decided to use my $11.99 is to vote for ppv's. If the main event has somebody my smarky ass doesn't deem worthy. I literally tell them he doesn't draw money. If a guy like Bryan/Ambrose/Ziggler is fighting for the title I will re-subscribe happily.

I'll be watching Wrestlemania just cause it's Wrestlemania. I can't remember the last time I was this cold on the product. But I'll still watch cause it's Wrestlemania. I will always watch Wrestlemania out of habit. I am a pro wrestling fan and it's the biggest pro wrestling event every year.
