Mick Foley announced on Facebook that Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte will be the main event but knowing WWE that means they could easily open the show if No Mercy is anything to go by. Anyways to the best of my knowledge this will be the first time a women's match main events a WWE PPV/special event (outside of NXT of course). Although have they kind of doomed this match with it being the 3rd Cell match in one night or is the fact it's Sasha/Charlotte enough to invest the crowd?

Puts the ladies behind the 8ball considering the "protect your main event" philosophy isn't adhered to anymore.
Reigns and Rusev are going to hit hard, Rollins and Owens are going to be stuntfests, the women need something that those don't have....only thing I can think of is a bloody affair, and considering there's a Flair involved....could be a possibility.
It's probably the best way to finish te show seeing as Boston will most likely be unkind to Reigns winning and Owens retaining would take the wind out of the sails and since Sasha is a home town girl, could end the show on a high note or major heat.
Then I'll listen to the law and somehow there will be criticism if there was blood.

I'm sure the women will have a good match but the promos leading up to it have been BRUTAL.
Both girls smiling, talking about how excited they are to 'compete' in the cell, honoured to have the privilege to enter the cell, chatting about 'history'. It's made zero sense.
They should go on the Network and look at HBK's reaction to fighting in the Cell. It's not a playground to 'build a legacy' and 'break barriers' - it's where two people go to settle fights.
Sasha on the mic has been brutal since she's won the title, and seemingly hasn't improved one bit since NXT.

Foley backpedaled on the mainevent part.
Either he jumped the gun or those anti SJW morons took to Twitter to complain like some angry Bryan fans during Mania 31.

Main event, who cares, all 3 matches really do NOT belong in the cage, not yet anyway. Charlotte and Sasha could very well end up there but usually you put someone in the cage for a few reasons...
1) To END a feud not interupt it midway. So, Reign and Rusev almost qualify on this since I'm tired of seeing those two it's old. 2) Reigns is not my favorite person for sure. 3) The women can sure pull off a Hell in the Cell but there's no feud! Wanting her belt back is not a feud, it's the START of one. 4) Rollins and Owens in the cage... WHY? Isn't this like their first "realy" PPV match? I may have missed some but again, See 1) It's a ending tool not a begining one!
This HitC will suck, the matches might be goo but they will suck on principal.

I agree that Owens/Rollins probably shouldn't be in the cell but I think the other 2 are fine in it. Reigns & Rusev have been feuding since before Summerslam and have had several no contests that at least makes it worth going in the cell. Sasha/Charlotte have been feuding on and off since Mania but the booking has been very backwards, this match would make much more sense if like John has stated this was her last title shot after Dana screwed her out of winning a few weeks back. Although the less Dana is involved the better, really don't know why they called her up as she is beyond awful and I can't even blame it on her being green it's just her being bad. Back to the Cell I think 3 is way too many, 2 is fine for me as you can open the show with one and close it with one with there being a big enough gap between. Also like Deezy said it'll be very hard to give all 3 its own special feel.

The biggest heels are the (mostly hypothetical) fans that don't respect women's wrestling. The women are all just performers. Charlotte isn't a wrestling heel, she's the equivalent of an NBA superstar with a bad attitude. And Sasha Banks isn't a likable wrestling babyface, she's a likable person playing a wrestling babyface. This isn't to say that I have any reason to believe that the match won't be outstanding. But it's the epitome of Hell in a Cell changing from being the mother-of-all gimmick matches to blow off a feud to being "the thing we do in October."

I'm tired of the 14 months we've been told women's wrestling is undergoing a "revolution", "evolution" and "making history" - especially when it's coming from the performers themselves. Just go out there, do cool sh*t and let it speak for itself. We don't need some combination of tears and hugs after every title win or big PPV match because it undermines what they're trying to accomplish.
Charlotte and Sasha have had so many matches. It would've been easy to turn the heat up on their program and have it escalate to more violence and out-of-the-ring hostility that would warrant a Hell in a Cell match and the main event. Right now it's just to "make history" rather than a personal issue that would be SIMPLE for these two to get over. The lack of foresight isn't surprising but it remains disappointing when the correct path is so clear. Why in the world would they have Sasha win the title back on Raw the exact same way she did in July when a huge event was coming up in her city?
WWE booking, man. I'm rooting for them to have a great match, throw each other into the cell a bunch and come out alive.
