Bad night to stay up and watch RAW live! Couldn't be more of a disappointing filler show tonight; it seemed WWE knew there was very little interest after writing Lesnar out last week, and they were right.
What do you make of HHH being part of Mayweather's entourage, but not CM Punk w/ Sonnen...despite Batista coming out with Pacquiao in 2009?
Cena mentioned getting fluid in his elbow removed, which would be from bursitis, an inflamed sac in his elbow joint. Thought i'd mention it. Anyway, has WWE ever explained how Bryan (a SD guy) can go for the RAW title, and RAW is Jericho can fight for the SD title?
Anyway, all that's forgiven because Paul Heyman was on our screens again. He did a good job trying to fix Brock's booking. Hopefully he'll continue to be at Brock's side when he returns. Oh man though, welcome to week 1 of the post-Mania slump!

Eve is a magnificent bitch. USA Network's newest buddy cop sitcom looks just as dumb as the other 12 they've produced. Paul Heyman's return was a fun surprise but I made the mistake of being on Twitter during RAW where CM Punk spoiled it. The entire World Heavyweight Championship picture is dreadfully boring, fella. This monster push of Tensai continues to be flat as a board. If beating the likes of Cena and Punk results in a completely apathetic audience reaction, it's time to end the experiment.
By the way, considering how mic savvy Heyman is it's a shame WWE didn't use him earlier. He may have been able to save that terrible contract negotiation segment a few weeks ago.

I find myself caring less and less about each show. Might have to go back to watching old Japanese wrestling on YouTube. Seriously, why do they keep botching shit that is so obvious, like Brock being an undefeated monster? I think we're lucky he wasn't signed full-time for a year, as he'd probably be jobbed to Santino at some point. His entire run should be so obvious, even with the limited dates he's signed for. And yes, obvious can be fucking awesome despite what Vinny Mac seems to think. But now the WWE has fucked up so bad they feel the need to get Heyman in to try and save it? Wow. Just wow. Credit to Heyman though, he delivered tonight, even if it's just damage control. Cena was actually good tonight in his promo. Too bad it's lost in this shitty feud with Johnny Ace. I actually wanted to see Johnny Ace in action against Punk months ago in a squash, but not here against Cena. Does anyone else still care about seeing Jericho out there? They kind of blew his latest run, too, with the shiny jacket and two losses in a row to Punk. Now he's just like Brock: another guy on the roster. Tensai means nothing either. Maybe if they had let him work like he worked in Japan, he'd have made an impact, but here he's a fat Hakushi without any high-flying moves. And what the fuck was the point of the green mist tonight if he wasn't even going to rub it in Punk's eyes? It's like he was trying to give a chemical-induced Indian burn to Punk's forehead. Maybe next week he can give Randy Orton a green mist purple nurple. This show sucked.

Heyman had A+ delivery of C- lines, in front of an F crowd.
Fuck man, WWE just feels ice cold right now. Like, something you couldn't pay me to be excited for. I'm interested in Punk vs. Bryan purely for the novelty of seeing two talented dudes who main evented Ring of Honor be in a WWE title match, but everything else is just so, so, boring. Miami feels like a distant memory, and a one off. Maybe I'm exaggerating, in fact I almost definitely am, but this was one of those RAWs that reminded me we're witnessing the slow, steady death of mainstream pro wrestling

I wish I had my 2 hours back. Raw was awful tonight. Punk's promo was so lame it hurt, Johnny Ace's rewrite of history was amusing before Cole hammered it into the ground. The match quality was not there tonight, with a general feel that the roster didn't give a fuck.
Eve is looking stunning in her new role and outfit and she is better in this role than...bimbo #4. Brodus segment was lame, Brand separation is a drinking game and my god do I not care about Hunter.
Too bad Tensai's gimmick is so "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" level campy, he is a good big man, and barring the fail mist, I adore the Claw STO as a finisher for some reason. Heyman was okay but it was about Lesnar, I really don't care anymore. 2/10 +2 because Ziggles got a win and because Eve Torres is one sexy secretary.

Not the best RAW but serviceable
No reason for Punk to be out there with Big Johnny anymore he should be focusing on Daniel Bryan
Adding RKO & Jericho to the Sheamus DelRio championship match at over the limit increased my already high interests for it 10-fold
Heyman without Brock is as bad as Brock without heyman Just sending him out there with a piece of paper trying to build brock makes him nothing more that a big mouth with no muscle Its obvious though that Paul will be how they get away with not having brock there every week
Slow motion Naomi & the other one (Jasmin?) Jumping up & down after the Brodus win? You know us so well WWE... too well even...
6/10

Post mania slump is probably right Jay Hunter... On a positive note if you'd told me at say Christmas that Brock Lesnar AND Paul Heyman would be back by now- I would have been pretty darn excited - and that's what has happened! I love that never-say-never thing about wrestling.

I was all set to say this was a pretty dull raw until Paulie came back! Great decision by wwe, Brock wasn't getting over on the mic and Paul can sell him like no one else. Also this is a great way to keep Brock front and center in the storyline without using up his expensive and limit appearances.
Other notes I enjoyed the Jericho-Del Rio v. Shemus-Orton match and was happily surprised how much time they gave it.
Whatis the deal with Tensai's face tattoo looks like a tire track to me when he's wrestling.
Having never been a miz fan also loved the funkasauras squashing him.
All in all to me I enjoyed the current booking but have zero interest in the cena-laurenitis storyline. They sure as hell won't recapture Vince-Austin with these two they dont come across as having any legit heat to me.
As an aside I don't get why people are so shocked hunter was at the mayweather fight. wwe has never viewed boxing as competition like UFC is also they consider mayweather to be a part of the wwe universe.
Overall good show thumps up.

It's always a bad sign when you leave a TV show forgetting almost every single aspect of it, I mean what was there to it? I remember Eve looking at Big Show disapprovingly, The worst looking Baldo Bomb/2 handed chokeslam in history (so bad I'm not sure what he was going for),Daniel Bryan yelling yes a lot and Laykel setting the world on fire with their chemistry, whilst walking towards the arena, backstage. For what it's worth I did mark out when Paul Haymen came out and like the way the Brock storyline is going but for me this Raw had terrible structure, lame duck segments & pointless matches. The crowd was also, for the most part, terrible but who could blame them.
I just remembered the 4 way for the world title was announced, that felt like a 3 week build/angle done in 10 minutes and it left no impact on me what so ever. Forgetting about a World Title match an hour after it's announced is not a sign of good booking 3/10

Very lacklustre Raw even with the surprise return of Paul Heyman. Tonight's show underscored the weakness of the WWE midcard. Chris Jericho has been downgraded to a World Title chase which make sense since he has lost 4 PPVs in row. I don't see him staying around much longer if that's all they have planned for him. Eve is slowly becoming the right hand woman of Johnny Ace, replacing David Otunga and will probably be the next heel GM when Ace loses to Cena at the PPV. Heyman did cut a great manager promo for Brock but it didn't seem like the crowd was into him likely due to his absence from the product. Even with the Daniel Bryan rub the Lord Tensai win over CM Punk didn't seem credible at all. All the martial arts poses are goofy and do not intimidate anyone. It would be like Funkasaurus pinning Randy Orton like a random jobber after the dance number. I give this show a 4/10.

The wwe drought has begun. easily a candidate for worst raw of 2012 so far. Heyman coming out was a very pleasant surprise. My how he has aged. With brock working a limited amount of dates, Heyman can keep the storyline going on without brock there as his representative if this wasnt a one time thing. The world heavywight title match getting changed to a 4 way, although i dont see why, will be more entertaining than just sheamus vs delrio. apparently cena worked the dark match. must have done the interview in his dressing room. this raw had 3 different scripts and vince chose the wrong one.
4/10
