PWInsider reports that Brock Lesnar threw a tirade backstage after the Extreme Rules PPV on Sunday. Lesnar apparently ripped apart his dressing room and went off on several WWE officials after getting upset over John Cena's PPV-closing promo.
The original plan for the match was for Cena to win but to be beaten so badly that he had to be carried out of the building, making Lesnar look stronger and making it seem as if Cena won the battle, but Lesnar won the war. Instead, Cena cut a promo to the crowd and Lesnar viewed it as Cena double crossing him.
Obviously WWE officials were able to calm him down, as he worked RAW last night and did the planned Triple H angle as a way to get him off TV for now.
Apparently Lesnar's current deal only requires him to work a minimum of two dates.

Well I don't blame him for getting upset, that promo was ridiculous and was totally trashed after RAW tonight.

this storyline confuses me. brock was meant to destroy cena. but instead he injures his arm. not even badly, hes just going to work thru it. i have a bad feeling brock v hhh will end in hhh making brock look weak again.

Yeah, he had every right to be pissed, especially if it was agreed Cena would sell an injury angle beforehand and Cena went off on his own (or at the behest of certain people backstage) to cut that promo just to fuck with Lesnar. Another display of unprofessionalism by Cena, after like 5 weeks in a row doing dirty during The Rock feud.
Brock's getting paid though, i'm sure it'll all blow over sooner rather than later.

This whole situation just seems like a big stubborn mess.

Definitely on Lesnar's side here. If the plan was for Cena to do a stretcher job then what's going on here? I do not think it was unprofessional from Cena, he is a big company guy. If they tell him to do it, Cena will.
But, this could all be a work too.
However, I see the point of ending the Cena / Lesnar feud quick. Triple H is back at it again. He wants to stop Lesnar by himself. Can't even let your ultimate company guy have the shine

My original thought was the only way they could spin this is if Brock injured Cena and put him out of action for awhile but since they are clearly not doing that I would be surprised Brock would have agreed to this storyline.
He signed a really unique contract and I'd be shocked if he doesn't have either some degree of character control or they had an outline for how he'd be booked.
I hope he is done after the dates he's done because they aren't going to do anything special with him.

If this is true (I have serious doubts)...Is anyone surprised?
I fully expected McMahon to hedge his bets on the Lesnar thing. First he puts Cena over, then he gives Cena a post-match promo that doesn't make ANY sense 48 hours later, then he feeds this monster to the one man that can keep him in check...His son.
Don't get me wrong, Brock's no angel (I wouldn't have given him all that money in the first place, dude's got a history of unprofessionalism)...But if this story is true, he's got a legit beef.

Yeah totally on Brock's side......I've just got a bad feeling about the HHH match. I have the feeling that even if he doesn't beat Brock, HHH will still destory the last of Lesnar's aura by beating him up all over the place in the match. Maybe I'm wrong and everything will work out but...yeah.

He's getting screwed that's for sure, but he's getting paid huge money so the WWE,rightly or wrongly are entitled to use him however they wish.

You know what, most likely, its all a stupid work. A stupid, dumb fucking work, that isn't adding anything to the Lesnar programme and convoluting it with stupid nonsense. Are there any buys or views that are going to happen because Brock is reported to have blown up backstage? No. Man, some storylines are so simple to book. Lesnar's a killer who demolishes everyone till a triumphant babyface beats him. Man. What an absolute mess.

I smell a huge work going on with this "report." This sounds just like WWE specifically VKM wanting to backhand the IWC for not liking the shitty Vince Russo style swerve we were served at Extreme Rules. I'm sick and tired of WWE trying to change things because they don't want their storylines to seem predictable. Who cares! It's pro wrestling, we all know it's a work.

It wouldnt surprise me if this was legit. Cena has been no selling for years to make himself look good, Thats one of the things that drives fans crazy, why change now? He's turning into Hogan with 25% of his talent, what a tool.
This is the kind of crap that got me to switch off a few years ago, super Cena always winning, not selling and coming out the next night grinning like an idiot as if nothing has happened.
If i was Brock i would be even stiffer in a rematch and knock him out legit. No way you can non sell Getting knocked the F*** out.
