From Marc Middleton at lordsofpain.net:
It appears that Edge is going to let his contract with WWE expire on Monday. The 2012 WWE Hall of Famer was reportedly offered a new deal to remain exclusive to the company and didn't sign it. As noted earlier, he will be appearing at the Resistance Pro Wrestling show on May 11th in Chicago.

Legends contract means u can take any booking u want but I think WWE wanted him to sign an exclusive deal that gives them vetoing power.

Agreed Edge should be allowed to do what he wants outside the WWE without the WWE having exclusive rights over him

"We've been talking with Edge for the last two years and he's always really wanted to get involved with TNA because he knows it's the real deal and the major league of wrestling but Vince has been holding him hostage and wouldn't let him out of his contract, brother."

Well I doubt he ever goes to TNA so I don't think WWE has much to worry about as he's not doing anything many other guys under legends deals are doing anyway. Unless they have some control fetish thing going on (wouldn't surprise me).

I'd love to see him show up in TNA to replace Hogan as the GM.
