I stand by it being a good show with a bad result. In that way it's like American Idol or any of these talent show kind of deals - entertaining enough while they're on but not really producing anyone notable. John Morrison is really the only successful Tough Enough winner and that should say something.
Funnily enough, Maven, winner of Tough Enough 1, was arrested not long ago for trying to rob a pharmacy. Our man's come a long way from that Rumble where he eliminated Taker.

I agree with IRS. Luke was the top star on the show. He had the skill in the ring, the athleticism and could keep his cool and cut a promo. But Andy had the size. So you know Vince had monster Boner for him. "GOD DAMN! LOOK AT HOW BIG HE IS."

The problem with Tough Enough is that the serious competitors are paired with the sham competitors who have no business being there.
You have three or four guys who have potential and the rest are just there to add drama or whatever.
It's like American Idol....you have your ACTUAL competition but a vital part of the show are the folks who have no business being there...the same goes with Tough Enough.
I'd prefer to see a show that cut the 'weekly challenge' crap and just chronicled a dozen trainees as they begin their journey to the WWE under the tutelage of Stone Cold, Booker T and Trish. Their goal would be to make as many stars as possible rather than whittle down the group one by one.

I think a healthy mix of talented guys and dramatic losers makes for a compelling show. TE2011 was an excellently made reality show, complete with a ten minute ass-kicking Austin promo each week. Blew anything seen on Raw or SD. Hope we get a 2nd season of USA Network's Tough Enough
