Here is how I would book this year's BFG:
Bobby Roode vs. James Storm for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship - I don't have a problem with this rematch, as long as they keep these two separate until then. I think an additional could be added where Storm puts his career on the line, but I don't think it needs to go that far.
Jeff Hardy vs. Bully Ray in Full Metal Mayhem
Austin Aries vs. Kurt Angle
Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles in a 30 minute Ironman match for the X-Division Championship
Samoa Joe/Magnus vs. The MCMG vs. Mexican America vs. the returning Triple X (Low Ki/Skipper) in a 4-way dance for the TNA World Tag Team Championships
Jack Evans vs. Paul London vs. TJ Perkins (Puma) vs. Jimmy Yang in a 4-way Ultimate X match for a TNA contract
Monster's ball invitational - Similar to the hardcore battle royal at WM 2000, involving such participants as Abyss, Crimson, Morgan, Gunner, Devon, Mr. Anderson, Eric Young and probably some people outside of TNA
Gail Kim vs. Sarita for the TNA Knockouts Championship - They really need to do something with Sarita, as she has all the talent in the world, but is heavily underutilized.
Sting vs. Ric Flair in a career match (just to round out the card)
What do you think?

I agree that Roode vs Storm is good enough to Main event the show, do the story where Storm considers his career and then comes back with loads of fire. I think thats what they are going to do as well.
They need to make sure they don't have Roode continually get by with screwjob wins, need him to look strong at times too and vicious. Too many heels seem to do the chicken shit heel bit and sometimes they should be a that but sometimes not time, need to know they can kick some ass when they need to as well.
Not sure what to do with the undercard. I dont like Angle putting someone over again. He still has a couple more years left of great matches, he shouldnt slide down the card just yet.
Styles vs Daniels in a 30 minute ironman would make me want to turn off, seen them wrestle way too much and now i get another 30 minutes. zzzz
Everything else is fine but you look at the roster and you feel like there are way too many guys that TNA consider top guys and want to protect.

I think the Pope should be in the position that Devon is currently in. Devon is already over with the fans and doesn't need the push at this stage of his career, whereas they really dropped the ball with Pope after he returned from injury in 2010. He was one of the characters that came over from WWE and actually got a fresh start and it was a character that TNA themselves created. I think he and Devon are about the same skill level in the ring, but I think Pope is much better on the mic when motivated. I think he should have an RVD style title run with the TV title for a couple years.
As far as your card goes brother Nate, I like where you're going with it, but I can't see this Joseph Park character lasting that long, and I think he'll be Abyss by BFG.
I suggested a name and gimmick change for John Morrison a while back on the Law's facebook page. I was thinking he gets a '90s Jericho hairstyle and the gimmick would be a combination of Neo in the Matrix and Tom Cruise's character in the Last Samurai. The name I suggested was Jensen Matrix. And I can see him used to elevate the X-Division a little bit.

- Bobby Roode vs James Storm - TNA World Heavyweight Championship - Hulk Hogan and AJ Styles vs Ric Flair and Gunner - Samoa Joe and Magnus vs Kaz and Daniels vs The Motor City Machine Guns - Full Metal Mayhem Ladder Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship - Crimson vs Sting - Undefeated Streak vs The Icon - Austin Aries vs Rob Van Dam - TNA X-Division Championship - Matt Morgan vs Mr. Anderson - Jeff Hardy vs Bully Ray - Falls Count Anywhere - Gail Kim vs Mickie James vs Velvet Sky vs Madison Rayne - TNA Knockouts Championship - Battle Royal for a future shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Jarrett wins after Garret Bischoff thinks he wins after eliminating The Pope but Jarrett was under the ring and attacks Garret from behind and sends him over the top rope for the victory.

@ Blaine - I think the Pope can still be an effective worker. Ironically, he was one of the few things Russo got right, but the guy was SO good that the fans turned him babyface, which I think hurt the character. I think you bring him back off of his Batman gig and have him fully embrace the heel persona. Maybe you make him the head of a stable (Pope, Morrison, & Ion?).
As far as Joseph Park goes, I can easily see them bringing Abyss back for Slammiversary, but I hope not. I think there might be more traction/storytelling in making Joseph Park/Abyss a Hulk-like character instead of just a hardcore monster.
@ Jimumni - I'm sorry brother, but I checked out after I saw Crimson going over Sting. Even as a TNA fan, there's still a limit to what I'll accept from the bookers...Lol!

Hogan vs. Flair was already teased - imagine the promos going in! Who cares about the actual match with these two anyway=)) The only thing they need is to add Steiner to the mix - with his legit hatred towards both this match has 166% chance of being an all time classic.
