For a while I thought TNA had actually changed the company name to Impact Wrestling, but it seems like all the pay-per-views are still marketed as TNA pay-per-views. What makes it even more confusing is the fact that all TNA branding has been removed from Impact (the show), except for promoting PPVs and on the title belts. The way they've set it up, they've made it look like "Impact Wrestling" is like a subsidiary of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Personally, I think the whole thing is just dumb. Everyone just calls it TNA, and it's better that way anyway. Thoughts?

I really don't think THEY even know how to answer this.

I think they should just pick one and stick with it. I know I personally refer to it as Impact Wrestling, as TNA just sounds like tits and ass.
Once the year is over (They seem to be pushing 10 years of TNA a lot on the t-shirts now), I think they should just drop the TNA name all together. They have the time now to get new belts made with the Impact Wrestling logo ready for Jan 2013.

Hmmm...The way I always took it is that "TNA" is the company while "Impact Wrestling" is the name of their show. Kind of like how Monday Night Football is still the NFL, but the program is known by a different name.
It's also similar to how "Nitro" began to usurp "WCW" during the late 90's in terms of TNT's adevertising and even the way the commentators referred to the show...But it was still a WCW production.

TNA is a stupid name, but IMPACT is worse. So I just call it TNA.

No one knows who is running the company in kayfabe, let alone the name of the show itself. They went and TNA'd it. I stand by that verb in the post-tense... Where's the pie chart?

I think about this everytime I watch TNA(impact)
I'm sure they re branded it to Impact around a year ago but now it seems they have slowly reverted back to calling it TNA Impact

Yeah I'm certain this is how they're looking at it. TNA is such a horrible name, call me old school but I much rather prefered companies using the term wrestling in the name. "WWF" "ECW" NWA" Total Nonstop Action just sounds like a kid's game show.

Yeah good point. TNA Wrestling isn't completely horrible but it just sounds awkward.

Remember how great those "Wrestling Matters" promos were around a year ago? I think this halfway nonsense is dumb and just dilutes both "brands". Just call it TNA or call it Impact Wrestling. Never fully establishing when which is called what and going back and forth is just stupid.
Actually, just call it RING KA KING.
