So I've been recently going through the entire year of 1996 (RAWs and PPVs) and I never actually had seen this PPV before. What I'm looking for is your guys thoughts (if you have any) on this show. The best part of Review A Wai is all the little tidbits so if you have any, you just any general thoughts about anything, lets hear them!
In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies (Omaha, NE)
1. Wildman Marc Mero def. 1-2-3 Kid 2. Owen Hart / British Bulldog def. Jake "The Snake" Roberts / Ahmed Johnson 3. Ultimate Warrior def. Goldust 4. Vader def. Razor Ramon 5. The Bodydonnas def. The Godwinns 6. Shawn Michaels def. Diesel
I really think there were 2 memorable events that happened on this show. I remember it was the last time we would ever see the Razor Ramon character on live television as Hall and Nash had both left for WCW after this (House Shows excluded). This was a big deal, but to me the bigger deal was the fact that Nash actually had a good match. I really enjoyed the main event of Diesel vs Michaels. I thought Nash's facials and overall demeanor was tremendous. He actually took the match and his character serious and looked like a legit killer. In the end, he lost clean to Michaels and it helped elevate Shawn's toughness in the eyes of the fans.
What do YOU remember?

I remember two things. 1) When the event happened, I was a 11 year old kid. I new wrestling wasn't real, but I wasn' "smart". I could not figure out why Vader beat Razor Ramon. Obviously we know why now. 2) Shawn Michaels and Diesel was one of Diesel's best WWE matches ever.

The only match that sticks out in my mind is Michaels vs. Diesel for the WWF Championship. I do recall this match being a very good match. As for the rest of the card, it was average for the time. Looking back 16 years later, this event doesn't hold up well. Since you haven't watched this event, I would recommend checking it out and judge the event on your basis. So happens, I haven't seen this event since it aried live in 1996.

That ppv featured the best Kevin Nash match ever. People were a little let down back in the day with the Ultimate Warrior match. Vader squashing Razor at the time was surprising at the time. I didn't know the behind the scenes stuff because Razor was super over and Vader was still rather new and him going over was surprising to me.

Give me Diesel/Hart from Survivor Series 95 over this Diesel match, but both were excellent.

The thing I remember most is Shawn Michaels taking off Spanish announcer Hugo Savinovich's boot and hitting Diesel in the head with it.

Just to clarify, I hadn't seen this event until today. Great main event made it a good show in my opinion. As for the Hart match from 95, I just though Nash looked a little more like a killer in the Michaels match and I believe that's what suits him best. But yes, big shocker, his top 2 matches in WWE were with Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels
