I'm reviving this thread. So.... Premiership first:
Liverpool destroy Arsenal. 4-0 after 19 minutes. Arsenal simply not at the races, but this was only one match. Their upcoming fixtures do not look good though: Man Utd (H), Liverpool (H), Bayern Munich (H), and then there is a run of fixtures in March/April of: Bayern Munich (A), Tottenham (A), Chelsea (A), Man City (H), Everton (A). All in succession. :S
The Welsh derby was interesting. Swansea dominated during the second half once Herndandez came on. But Cardiff were also shite. Zaha didn't have the best of matches in his first start, Jones did nothing, and how do you let Dyer score on a bloody header?!
MLS: Toronto FC continue to build. I would now say that we have a team that, at least on paper, could probably survive relegation in the Bundesliga, and at least have a chance of staying up in the Premiership too. And I can't believe I'm saying that. But look at this potential line-up:
-------------- Cesar
Orr ---- Henry ---- Caldwell ---- Morrow
--------- Bradley --- Laba
------------- Osorio
-- DeRo ----------------- Defoe ------------- Gilberto
Bloody hell!

The premier league has been very interesting to follow this year as a neutral viewer. There always seems to be a big game going on every week. I loved watching that Liverpool vs Arsenal game. Liverpools attack was very entertaining to watch.
I can not wait for the upcoming TFC season to start. I just hope that they can back up all the hype.

For everyone that isn't a United fan, it's been an exciting year, we all expected City, Chelsea to be up there but I think Arsenal, unfortunately Liverpool and even Everton have surprised everyone.
As a United fan, this has been a shitty year to be honest, I watch all United games but I haven't been watching to much else, hard to keep interested in a sport when your team is doing so terrible, I'm waiting for this season to end so the fat can be trimmed in the summer.

My local club is Carlisle United who currently play in League One.
Famous for a goalkeeper scoring a goal in the last minute on the last day to survive in the Football league.
Not really a fan but i used to go now and then to see them play.

Or pity you?
Big controversy of the CL this week: is a red card and penalty too harsh of a call for fouls in the area? Sneeze's foul on Robben looked relatively harmless. He even tried to get out of the way. Surely a yellow and a pen should suffice.

Klinsman has decided to leave Landon Donovan out of the 23 Man squad for USA World Cup squad.
We're fucked anyway we aren't going to beat Germany or Portugal and Ghana have some sort of voodoo curse the like that was last seen when Papa Shango was making the Ultimate Warrior Puke.

The Landycakes decision made me laugh harder than Klinsman's son. I've always found him to be an arrogant prick, but let's be honest, he's still going to the World Cup. He'll be the first person Klinsi calls when there's an injury.
And yeah, you're probably going out in the first round anyways with that defence. I hope not though. I have a soft spot for the US these days.

People are getting a little bit annoyed at the Landon Donovan situation because Klinsman dropped him for a 18 year kid who has never played top level Soccer.
Julian Green might play a game for the national team (I don't think he'll actually get any playing time) at a World Cup before he even plays a full game in the Bundesliga.

Yeah it's crazy. Klinsi loves his Germans.
