Euro 2012 -
Who is watching, and who will not come out of the group of death? Poor Denmark, they don't have a prayer. Even though Russia got lucky in the draw, I'm not even sure if this team side will advance to the next stage...

I'm watching.
Work called me to come in today but I made up a story about having to watch my son so I could stay home and watch today's games, as well as Canada/Cuba in World Cup qualifying.

Greece-Poland was exactly as I expected it would be, but I'm pretty happy with the way Russia is playing against the Czechs, but then again it is the Czechs, its not hockey.
Good luck to your side against Cuba!

I thought Pool A was pretty wide open before today.
Russia looked fucking awesome in their game though. I think they should top this group.

If this side can play with as much fire against Poland as they did against the Czechs maybe they might get another semi-final run in?

Problem is they get a group B opponent in the quarter-finals. No matter who their opponent is, that would require an upset from The Russians, no matter how good they look in group play.
Denmark beating the Netherlands today was shocking!

match day 3 for the next 4 days.
This is where it matters! Read all the tie-breaking scenarios on the UEFA website. My head hurts.

Well, at least it was an Orthodox country that put Russia out

Was really hoping Spain and Croatia would play to a 2-2 draw so the conspiracy theories could start.

So we got
Czech Republic/Portugal......\ Spain/France....................../
Germany/Greece.................\ England/Italy....................../
Looking ahead, we could have an Iberian Peninsula battle in one semi, and Germany/England in the other (they have some history, don't they?)

Wow. 4-0. Nobody saw that coming.
This just in......Spain is fucking awesome. Up there with Hungary from the mid 50's and France from the late 90's.
