Not surprised you guys hated the show. You were going to hate it no matter what since you've been whining about having to watch this for the last few weeks. It's sad that your views on whether the show is good or not is totally dependent on the length of the show and whether Cena is on or not. I'm sorry but this is STUPID - did I not rave about Slammiversary the night prior? A show that actually took me longer to watch without a PVR? The length of the show has nothing to do with my enjoyment, one of the greatest wrestling cards I've ever seen was a 4+ hour event. You're the same type of person that ragged us on for 'shitting on TNA' because we're 'WWE nut huggers' and now the quality of shows has drastically reversed and it's the same song and dance. It's my job to watch all these shows and I'll continue to do so and wrestling like any form of entertainment designed for consumption is SUBJECTIVE is how it's received. If I hated a show, I hated a show - why do you care what two random Canadians have to say about a wrestling show if you ultimately enjoyed the show?

My frustration is that I love listening to the show, but with the complaining about having to watch this 3 hour show you guys have been doing for the last couple of weeks I knew going in you were going to hate it. It really wasn't that bad of a show, but I think you were ready to hate it before it started. I understand it's a matter of tastes, but there was good on this show but I don't think you allowed yourself the chance to like it. And yes, Slammiversary was a great show, my comment about length only had to do with the negativity that has been shown since the three hour raw was announced. Nothing to do with TNA sir. Love the show

Love the show I agree with both John and yt2dope. I love listening to the show but the perception that you, John, have been giving leading up to these 3 hour RAWs is that you will not like them no matter what. I know this may not be the case, but when you actually do not like the show that you have been saying for weeks that you will not like, it just gives us the impression that this show had no chance right out of the gate. Please keep giving us your opinions about these shows. We appreciate you spending your nights doing these for us. And now, back to the show...

I'm sorry guys but criticizing the WWE's decision to go three-hours permanently has zero to do with my enjoyment of a show. If Raw was excellent I would be the first to admit it and still be negative at the idea of this show being 3 hrs every single week. I have long been stating that UFC runs WAY too many shows and all of their events are in the 4-6 hour range when you factor in prelim fights I watch. That being said UFC shows deliver on a consistent basis - that being said their television cards have taken a big hit, TUF Live numbers were down this season and PPV took a hit last year (despite being one of the best years of fights the company has ever produced). Quality doesn't always correlate with business - there is a burnout factor. I never go into a show wanting to hate it - if that was the case I would stop doing the podcast because there would be no point to do it in my opinion. A year ago I detested the TNA product and felt it was going nowhere and here we are a year later and I love the product - I think my transparency has been displayed for those that are regular listeners.

Yes, we have to commend you on your complete 180 on the TNA product. A year ago, it sounded like you were very close to dropping your iMPACT reviews completely and now it is the "highlight" of your wrestling week. I think we are all experiencing WWE burnout.

I don't think John or Wai need to justify their opinions to anyone, I mean, it is a show that features their opinion on something they just watched. I don't see them stating that their opinion is fact set in stone or anything.

The difference between my opinion and John P's or Wai, (though they may not like to hear this) is that having a show that is aired on even in a podcast, they will be open to be critiqued, I found that the repetitive bitching and moaning about it being 3 hour long, 3:15 minutes long... etc etc got tedious at best, Ok I get it, your point has now been battered into my skull after listening to you drone on for 53 minutes at least 20 times mentioning the SAME point, I get it, you don't WANT raw to go 3 hours. Gotcha. Now, let's review the 3 hours like a review should be reviewed and stick to the topic, one, maybe even 2 mentions a week about how much you hate the 3 hour format is a given. Yes it IS long.
I have been listening to LAW before it was even on Ipods! It was Live Audio in the truest sense and you broadcasted it using "Real Audio" what's that you say? Some archaic form that was popular 10 years ago... When you had a weekly live interview and WWE was a lot nicer to you guys.
My point? You do a great job! Don't take offense to some critism, constructive is always good of course, but if you shit on the product every week, there is bound to be a rose or two that will eventually grow!
TNA *IS* improving, I will agree a few months ago I almost tuned it out totally, frustrated by seeing them trying ti imitate instead of innovate.
Now they are getting back to basics, tell a solid story, get Hogan and Bitchy off the TV and make it about the wrestlers, NOT about the names. Really truly, they have still a lot of work to do, but it is improving!
WWE? Hit and miss I agree, They need to let the wrestlers speak for themselves, give them points they want raised and let them talk! And if they can't talk, get REAL manages the likes of Eddy Creithman, Bobby Heenan, and let them do the talking. Don't have any? FIND THEM! there has to be some good talkers around. Not that I am knocking Vicky, she entertains me, and plays her part well but I feel she detracts too much from her talent when she comes out yelling "Excuse me" all heat goes to her not her wrestlers!
Ziggler? Yes, I agree, he's being underused. And Koffi has no personality, please someone just bury the guy and get him off my set?!?! I yawn everytime his music hits and grab a 5 minute nap!

I mentioned Kofi in another thread: www.lawradio.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wwe&thread=879looking at the next generation SLOWLY coming through. We have been watching them move as slow as molasses for years. It has been 2 1/2 years since the Kofi / Orton feud youtu.be/6klYkFrfpKc. We actually thought this would catapult him into the main event picture. Now he is floundering in the mid card. It has been over a year since The Miz's amazing Wrestlemania promo youtu.be/qtDb952paBE?t=40s and win vs John Cena youtu.be/qtDb952paBE?t=32m37s. It has been over 2 years since Jack Swagger was World Heavyweight Champion youtu.be/HryG8Xrm68o?t=1m33s. Look where they all are now. Not doing much. You give them a push and when the result is less than you expected, you bury them. Now how are we supposed to buy into them when you try and build them back up again? I want them to succeed, but you cannot keep treating the next generation like this. I hope WWE can turn around and make new stars. They are not doing such a great job with the "new" crop.
