Shane McMahon lost at Hell in a Cell due to Sami Zayn's interference, and how does he get revenge on Zayn? By giving him the chance to represent SmackDown at Survivor Series! I can 100% get behind Zayn wanting to be on Team SmackDown since he left RAW due to being neglected, but that story isn't being told. Thinking over that attack last night, SmackDown invaded RAW when RAW lacked Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, Bray Wyatt, half of The Revival, and Roman Reigns; talk about hitting a guy when he's down. The SmackDown Women's match confused me too. Charlotte lead Team RAW to victory last year and nobody cares about that experience? I think I'd care about this "feud" if wrestlers got to choose what brand they'd appear on. Since that isn't the case, where does their brand loyalty come from? Why be loyal to a brand when there's no guarantee you'll be there in a years time? Why care about the outcome? I wish WWE would just fuck off with these hastags. I can't tell which I hate more, #undersiege or #keeponsuckin
Question: How do you think Survivor Series is going to end? At this point, I can't imagine Mahal and Lesnar not main eventing the show. How can you book Mahal and Lesnar to where you don't hurt either guy but you leave the crowd happy?

Anthony!
I though coming off from RAW that the whole reason for the "Blue Crew's" united beat down on the RAW locker room was that Shane has already chosen his five man team, yet tonight he has the same UNITED FRONT face off against each other in a match to determine Shane's five-
You know what? Fuck it! The RAW beat down in the end was pointless.
Fuck Bragging Rights!

Big Chauncy from Denver here since we are heading for a smackdown vs raw survivor series what big prize do you think they could offer to make the stakes higher? For example choice of pay per views or the monday night time slot...Whats your guys favorite invasion angle (NWO, Nexus, the forgotten WWF invades Memphis, etc...)?
P.S. I love disappointed angry wai from review a raw need more of that! Also wanted to thank John for making check out Dan Lambert on impact...

You both were 100% right with your comments on Review a Raw. There is no reason given to make us believe these superstars all of a sudden band together.
I was thinking it over, about what could be on the line that would make sense each year. I know it will never happen but this is what I would like. Make the talent fight over which brand they are on. Not one or two wrestlers, but the whole crew. Winning GM decides what show his talent will air on. Raw or Smackdown. Who gets the coveted Monday show? Every Survivor Series they get to fight for it again.
Side notes: * only way to rehab Finn at this point is to put him with Gallows and Anderson. Rehab all 3 really. Plus it creates future opponets for the Shield
* did you guys watch Lucha Mexico on Netflixs? Can't remember if you mentioned it. What did you think?
* Have you had a chance to see a C4 show in Ottawa?
* Morbid curiosity has made me buy tickets for Impact. I'll be at the PPV and Wednesday taping. I'll let you know how it went.

Loved the comments on Raw's invasion. WWE's lazy when it comes to showing their work and laying the foundation for their angles. Unfortunately, once their "moments" get the desired pop at the time, they don't seem to care about continuity or logical storytelling.
Question: Who do you think will comprise the men's 5-on-5 teams? Will Owens and/or Zayn ultimately still end up on the team and do you see them involving Shane again so soon? Owens, Zayn, Nakamura, Orton and Styles seems like a strong SD team. Not sure who Raw would bring to the table outside of Roman, Balor, Bray, Cesaro and Sheamus. Seems Kane and Braun are headed toward a singles match although that could happen on TV.

Carl from Surrey:
We could see only Owens or Shinsuke at Survivor Series joining Orton and no Zayn on Team Blue. It makes no sense for Shane to put his best talent in matches against each other to get spots on his team. Pick the best team period. What does a captain of a team do? The ladies all fight for it, then will all be on the same team. Fashion Dogs was not good. There is a shelf life and tough to come up with fresh ideas. However if we get The Ascension kids bikes or the four playing D&D, it could make a comeback. I cannot wait for the Survivor Series to be over to return to our regularly scheduled programming.

The invasion angle on Raw caused this Smackdown to be a sh*t show. How are we to go and pretend that everybody goes from teaming up to hating each other over the course of a day. Even if they came out with a reason as to why the Smackdown roster attacked Raw, there is no way to keep the storylines separate.
I can already see Owens losing next week setting up KO and Sami being bitter about being left off team Smackdown but still playing a part in the outcome of the Raw vs. Smackdown match. Overall, I would have preferred if Survivor Series booked the dream matches between the two brands. The only one I'm looking forward to is the tag champ match.

Chris from Melbourne, Australia. First, are we really that surprised with WWE's laziness at this quote Invasion. Just remind yourself at their poor booking of the WCW & ECW Invasion in 2001. Secondly, last nights Raw felt forgettable in the sense that most of the SmackDown roster was back to "In fighting". Lastly, on a PWG note it's great to hear the Aussie's Adam Brooks & Jonah Rock doing well overseas, both are currently Melbourne City Wrestling champions. ( www.youtube.com/user/melbcitywrestling )

This show was #underwhelming
I felt that there was nothing special to this show as to try put perspective on what the the show should of felt like, imagine WCW invaded WWF or even if DX got into WCW before the roller door closed in 1998. These things would of lead to massive shit talking about the other company, the commentators would fuel the narrative through the show, comparing things that were unique about their brand over the others, highlighting their superior roster members as they compete, have wrestlers coming out and cutting promos to give heat on seeing for example Rusev have a chance top get his hands on Samoa Joe in the 5v5 match and build to them finally being tagged in the ring at the same time when the match happens.
But this narrative isn't told as the commentators are THE SAME! they are in a natural position unable to speak ill of the other brand, meanwhile we get video packages with direct highlights of Raw, where at one point they tried to be realistic with only being able to show WWE.com footage we are now a far stretch from Vince's direction of "breaking the law as long as you don't get caught" when if you closed your eyes and didn't know the members of each roster the shows would seem exactly the same.
There's a million ways to give the brand split and in-turn this PPV heat, unfortunately WWE trying to do this 1 month out of 12 in a year only leads to #underwhelming TV.

Funny how WWE can't think of a reason why Smackdown would invade RAW and the Survivor Series team would work together when half of Shane's theme goes 'money, money, money, money, money, money, money'
