I do find it amazing that Flair's legendary final reign is so mediocre when compared to the rest. It just screams how little Russo cares about wrestling, even just a week as champ would have meant more than a mere 2 hours. Russo also doesn't care about his own storylines, why start another David Flair story while already telling one.

For WWE (and everyone else) talking up Flair being a 16 time World Champion, those last two reigns were awful. Next Nitro, presumably Tank Abbott is getting annihilated by Goldberg (literally can't see any other way the match works). If that's so, what does that leave for Goldberg at the PPV? Tank looks weak going into his title match with Steiner?

Anyway you are right, Goldberg kills Tank and moves on. As the boys have mentioned in a past episode, Goldberg wrote off the feud when they had David Arquette beat Tank on a Nitro.
