The Bludgeon Brothers looked awesome, like WWE's version of War Machine. Not the biggest fan of their name, but I'm just ecstatic to see Luke Harper on TV again. Dear God, Dolph Ziggler is dead. His segment with Roode was painfully awkward. Loved the fact that a ref ran out to do absolutely nothing. You know what else I loved? Seeing Jinder Mahal celebrate yet another title defense. Joking aside, who the hell do you pair him up with at Survivor Series? With AJ just suffering such a clean loss for a midcard title, why should I want to see him elevated to the main event scene? The only other person available is John Cena, and I see him as an end goal for Mahal so I can't imagine those two tussling so soon. Yet another thing I loved? The Fashion Files this week, easily the best one that the Fashion Police have created. Joking aside (yet again), I feel like WWE has no endgoal for this. Does it even matter anymore who attacked Breeze? Why should I care about this attack when Breezango barely reference it and their segments are constantly shifted around? Negativity aside, I thoroughly enjoyed Zayn and Owens tonight. Zayn's turn was heartbreaking since he had a plethora of legitimate points about being neglected while being an optimistic, hard worker. I'd love to see Owens and Zayn as a Two-Man Power Trip, holding all men's titles on SmackDown throughout the Winter.
Question: Lucha Underground is in the midst of Ultima Lucha Tres, yet I haven't heard anyone on the LAW nor any of your various podcasts even mentioning it. While the show isn't as popular as WWE and New Japan, I feel like it warrants being talked about since it's possible it's the last we see of Lucha Underground. All signs point to Ricochet/Prince Puma heading to WWE. What do you see in the future of the other Lucha Underground stars? With the contract issues, Lucha Underground not being confirmed whatsoever to continue, the disgruntled employees, the issues AAA has had, I see a lot of wrestlers becoming free agents with nowhere in particular to go.

Sami's explanation was lousy. A more original and plausible explanation would have been "Kevin's daughter and wife called me. They begged me. Begged me, to not let Shane kill Kevin. My conscience told me, no matter what Kevin and I have done to each other, I couldn't let Kevin die at Hell in a Cell. So I knew, I had to do something, not for Kevin, but for his daughter, blah blah blah."
More believable than this "brother" stuff and Zayn would be more of a conflicted tweener than heel. I dont think Zayn can be successful as a heel simply because "oh Shane is a psycho!"

Sami is such a joke the guy gets no reaction from the crowd in a heel turn. Go back to Nxt.

Great promos from both Owens and the Usos tonight. Do you think the Usos are turning face, or was the respect angle just a way to close the feud? Or perhaps a softening of their characters in anticipation of a SmackDown v Raw Survivor Series match?
I'm not sold on Sami's explanation of the turn, but his promo was by no means awful. I'm still undecided.
Oh look, Harper and Rowan are friends again. That's swell. I guess we know who attacked Fandango, now.
And unless he went on another racist tirade and WWE omitted the clip from YouTube, there was no Jinder tonight? Wow, what a fucking disaster he is. It was very refreshing to hear John criticize his run in no uncertain terms on the LAW. Unless they're getting a boatload of money from India, Jinder has no redeeming qualities and is emblematic of the horrible writing and character work on SmackDown this year (Corbin is trash, Ziggler's character is dead, Zayn has been overlooked, etc.).
Take Care

Big Chauncy from Denver. So I guess you guys were right it doesn't look like we are getting the Rusev vs Randy Orton iron man match. (Insert sad emoji) Do you think they are trying to stretch Dolph Ziggler vs Bobby Roode fued out to wrestlemania!!!! If not what program from smackdown do you think they are leading to at Mania? Maybe Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne vs HHH and Shane?

Based on tonight's clean finish, I'm guessing AJ gets to be Jinder's next victim. I just don't understand their willingness to torpedo top level workers trying to make a star out of someone with so little skill for a market so difficult to monetize, especially when he's left off of a show entirely.
Question: It's safe to say Jinder will be Champion through December's Indian tour but do you think they'll continue pushing it through Mania season? My hope is he drops it to Styles by the Rumble and we can get the Nakamura rehab in time for their Mania clash. They've saddled Nak with a guy who isn't over and another that can't work.
Bonus Q (time permitting): What would it take for WWE to fold or overhaul the Cruiserweight division? If the Neville rumours are true, having he and Aries request their releases says a lot about the internal ceiling 205'ers are facing. Is it too late for any format or presentation change to make a difference?

there were more "Right Nows" in this episode of Smackdown Live than a Review-a-Wai!
Most noteworthy part of Smackdown for me was how awesome the Usos are as the class of the division. Most improved in the Mic award perhaps?
Question, since I did finish King of Pro Wresting which I opted to after that horrid Balor Bray segment last night.....which guys in WWE who haven't already spent significant time on the Indy scene could hang with the style/quality and caliber of matches on a show like that? I really have a hard time imaging a guy like Orton or Roman in those matchups. On the flip side, I really could imagine Cena working those matches so I guess it means he's a good wrestler after all!

Question mainly for John.
As a dad was your prospective any different watching Shane vs Kevin Owens match Sunday? for me i felt a little bit uncomfortable knowing Shane’s kids were there watching ringside.
Wrestle Kingdom 12 question now that the main event is decided for the IWGP Title where does that leave Kenny omega is it way too soon to do Kenny vs Cody and break up part of the bullet club?

With India tour on December, and Jinder coming to India this week because of that Nakamura is buried. In local ticket website Jinder was advertised previously as 2 time WWE champion and his possible opponent is Roman Reigns, it to weird, because Indians like Reigns a lot, more than Jinder, and now no one cares him as threat. I guarantee Jinder will lose the title as early as possible after the India tour to AJ Styles or keep him as champ till Mania and Cena beats him and breaks the record. Can a Nakamura vs Styles just a singles match for mania with nothing on the line and both babyface will work for Mania undercard? And name three WWE Stars who could fit to Bullet club, and who could be the next leader after/IF Omega leaves New Japan

Really enjoyed the Owen's promo tonight. I am hoping that they keep running with the Kevin's Heaven gimmick. I really think that Owen's could knock the faux envangelist character out of the park. I am assuming this culminates with HHH at the Rumble or Mania, but who do you see being programmed with KO in the meantime? 10 bottles of holy water out of 10!
