Sounds like I was a little kinder to this show than you guys but understand why you guys disliked it, think I had the benefit of watching it while doing something else and not take detailed notes. The next review is a very interesting idea and I can't believe you're putting yourself through that awful 98 match again.

the Fall Brawl 98 match was recently reviewed on the Bryan and Vinny show over at Wrestling Observer. They tore it a new one.
And as someone who works at Canada Post and deals with large parcels/boxes daily, I can not stress enough the importance of lifting with your legs and NOT your back. I have seen so many people throwing out their back using improper lifting technique and it has effected them, some for years to come. Always squat, get as low as you can, and use your legs to do 95% of the lifting.

Did the guys already review the WrestleWar show with the War Games match? I think they may have...but it’s a great match...are there rules on such things?

Maybe I missed the guys mentioning it, but it just dawned on me while reading something else that Jody Hamilton's interference on this show was missed by his son, referee Nick Patrick. It's a conspiracy! C-O-N...SPIRACY!

with 2017 BOLA in stock and shipping now, will there be the yearly tradition of a BOLA review again this year? I hope so. Can't wait for the dvd's to show up on my doorstop and pop them into my dvd player.

Time limit draws are somehow better than 50/50 booking? uhhhh a tie is the epitome of 50/50.

Time limit draws are somehow better than 50/50 booking? uhhhh a tie is the epitome of 50/50. I don't completely agree, but I see your point. I think people (myself included) have a fondness for time limit draws because nobody in 1994 WCW (for example) was booking a 30-minute Broadway between Brian Knobbs and The Shockmaster. If you were getting a time limit draw, it was going to be guys like Flair, Sting, Steamboat, Austin, Regal, Rhodes, etc. So the time limit draws that we saw were most likely better than the average match on the card.
