So many moving parts leading into Summerslam's main event & I find myself actually digging the build for once. Just one question - wouldn't it have made more sense to let Joe put Strowman to sleep? I mean he was practically handling the situation himself - just sayin'.

Congrats to John Pollock. I've been listening for ages. You defy the stereotype of the forever-bachelor wrestling fanatics. Bartender Dave too.
Raw: feel like a four way for Summerslam is too busy and kind of a cop-out. Instead of elevating one of Joe/Reigns/Braun to #1 contender, let's just dump em all into the title match.
Looks like there will be a rematch between Elias and Balor. No disrespect to Elias. I love his songs, but Elias is just a distraction away from Bray.
Lackluster debut for Kurt Angle Jr. Hawkins is not a credible opponent for anyone. Maybe an angle (pun intended) is Kurt feeds lower carders to Jason because he doesn't want him to get hurt. Then, Jordan doesn't think Kurt believes in him.
I think the Sasha turn on Bayley coming soon since Sasha should be jealous of Bayley getting a title shot.
Looking forward to John's TJP impersonations.
Unrelated question: have you guys ever considered writing a book about the history of the LAW? The changes between the radio stations, the expansion from local radio to all over the world, Fight Network, etc. It would be an interesting read!

I didn't watch the entirety of RAW partly because, while matches were announced, there wasn't a main event advertised. While New Japan is in the G1 and has announced five top matches for all of their shows plenty of weeks in advance, I cannot figure out the main event of RAW while I'm a third of the way through the show. We haven't figured out who sent Kurt those initial texts about Jason Jordan. I feel like this mystery will be swept under the rug because WWE hasn't come up with a person it could be. Greatly anticipating the Fatal Four Way, it could be a match of the year contender if it's booked as strongly as Cena/Lesnar/Rollins was.
Question: Who do you think will have the bigger future in WWE: Big Cass or Baron Corbin?

Doug- Chicago, IL Congrats John!
What did you guys think of he tease with Dean and Seth to hug and celebrate, but not put their fists together. I thought this set the table for a future handshake to bury the past. What direction do you two see this going? I for one think both guys are lost and could benefit with working together again. Where do you see these guys going towards SummerSlam since they went over clean in a 2 on 3 match?

Why does angle stand so strangely did he recently have some kind of surgery it looks like he can't stand up straight for some reason. If I could compare it to something I would say he stands like a flamingo also congratulations john

Welcome back, John! Congrats again.
The Fatal 4-Way could be one of the most memorable SummerSlam matches ever and I expect they'll find a way to get the title off Brock without beating him.
Question: With the rumours about Brock fighting for UFC in the winter, if you were Vince, what would your priorities be for booking him through Mania? The 1-on-1 with Roman at the Rumble makes sense if he fights in December, which would free Reigns up for the Cena torch-passing at Mania. I can't see why Vince would agree to allow him a UFC fight in Q1 of 2018 without serious compensation.

Jeremy
first off congratulations Pollack and good to have you back. Question: let me know if you agree or have a different opinion? This is a bit long but its about why WWE has so much hot and cold booking and struggles with having consistently good story lines.
My opinion is they have to many top level wrestlers and dont know what to do with them If you look at the WWE rosters, they have an insane amount of talent on the 2 main shows, but you can only have 2 maybe 3 guys going for the top belts every month, this is why we have a Styles Vs Owens feud over the US belt when we know they should be battling for the WWE championship, Nakamura is just spinning his wheels, if Roman and Braun don't win the Universal title will they just go back to feuding for a few more months, where does Joe go after SummerSlam, what do they have install for Rollins next month as his feud with Bray went no where.
It seems so congested at the top. What do you guys think?
P.s Bray Wyatt sucks

Jesse from the 6
Welcome back John and congratulations to you and your family!
Views on Raw:
I very much enjoyed Sasha-Bayley but I think it was a mistake to give that match away with a clean finish on TV. Those two could main event a PPV. I also like Nia's flipping senton. I think it should be her new finish.
I'm looking forward to the 4-way at SummerSlam but I'm not sure it's the best match they could have made. Don't you think there's more money in a 1-on-1 Bruan vs Brock match? 1-on-1 matches are easier to promote and I think either could afford a loss. But I'm guessing that Vince doesn't want to pin either guy right now, so Joe will probably have to take that L.
What do you think will happen with the tag titles? Revival won tonight (in a heel-heel match? Or are Anderson & Gallows turning face?) but they're still very much involved with the Hardys. Will Seamus & Cesaro even have a match at SummerSlam? Could they face Ambrose & Rollins? BTW, did you hear what Booker said about Dean leaving Seth hanging at the end of the show? "They're not there yet." Are they taking inspiration from Ruth and Debbie from GLOW?
Take Care

Scott from OakBank (First Post....)
Welcome back, John - Congrats!
Some thoughts on tonight's show... - Enzo needs to just drop down to pre-IC Title status for a while.....& Cass needs the shine from a Big Show storyline.
- The perfect opportunity for Sasha to jump Bayley from behind while Alexa was in the ring...and they let that slip away. - Roman may as well complete the turn as the fans don't give a flying shit about him - it's X-Pac heat that he's getting, and the 4-way is simply to let them protect Brock as they take the belt off of him. - Watching Jason Jordan with the aggressiveness, I can see them having him quickly turn heel on Kurt Angle, using the "you were never there for me" type of storyline. That would be the perfect time for Angle to bring in Shelton Benjamin to feud with Jordan...
- The Cruiserweights are so pointless - 205 Live has ruined them completely...get rid of that garbage show & bring back Talking Smack!!
- As for Ambrose & Rollins...I couldn't care less about Dean Ambrose - he should never be above the lower mid-card. Miz is WAY above Dean's pay grade!! Look for the Rollins turn in the near future.

Chris from Melbourne, Australia.
Rather a "Meh" show, but maybe it's just me watching the G1.
I'm sorry but the cruiserweight division can not be saved for me now, it's become the glorified "Bathroom Break" segment for so many fans just like the old Diva segments. I mean just look at the 4 semi finalists from the Cruiserweight Classic, TJP & Gran Metalic how are either wrongly or barley used on TV, then Kota Ibush & Zack Saber Jr who are no longer with WWE (But doing great in New Japan).
Question for Wai: Did you watch the G1 match between Kota & Zack, and your thoughts as you reviewed the CWC last summer.

Jason from Van City,
Thank you so much, Wai for turning me onto Terrace House! Finished the first season on Netflix Canada and now completely addicted to it. Why? Who the hell knows. Any comments on the big elevator swerve near the end of the season? No need to spoil it for everyone but any quick comments?
Anyways for RAW, I'm pleasantly surprised Balor is still as over as he is despite but the poor booking he's been receiving since his return. I'm happy to give a lot of the credit to the heat Sampson produces as he garners real heat which makes Balor look like a total hero when he puts a stop to his guitar playing and follows it up by giving him a credible looking ass kicking. You compare that to what Corbin is doing on Smackdown which is the complete opposite when he's sucking all the momentum right out of Nakamura and whatever other feuds he's apart of.
***EDIT: Writing this while listening to you guys live and it looks like Miz will be feuding with Jordan which they'll build next week on Miz TV. Ambrose/Rollins will probably be feuding with Cesaro/Sheamus. Hmm, Ambrose turning on Rollins maybe?
