I've just came across this promo and I was blown away by it. It then made me think about underrated promos and promo guys. Chris Daniels is a prime example, he's never really been praised for his mic work and more for his ring work. The guys have often mentioned Bret Hart as well as a guy who was actually a perfect fit for his character but got little love at the time. Who else comes to mind when you think of underrated promos?

Great picks. I think Jack loses credit as a promo sometimes because people are just assuming he's being himself and not playing a character... which, of course, is part of what makes the character so great.

Jack also got labelled as a guy who relied on swearing & "pushing buttons" during his promos. Many missed the point he was trying to make.

Mentioned this in another thread but Bobby Lashley deserves a lot of credit for his promo work in the last year and a half. This isn't even the best clip but it's nice that Dixie and Billy Corgan are a part of it too, just to remind you of the level of most normal wrestling promos:

I'm amazed I haven't posted these sooner. I have legit lost hours watching Eddie Kingston promos, it made me a fan of the guy and I'm still a fan. Watching him got me into a lot of the indies that I got into. Thought I'd share some of his out of control/insane character from Chikara as well as some of his more recent work.
