Haha, this is hysterical. I confronted Wad and read directly from his own newsletter. Remember he denied this incident ever happened and even compared it to moon landing and jfk conspiracies. Now listen to Wad has his own words are read back to him.
Here is his exact words from his newsletter:
Second, the person who changed the Wikipedia Chris Benoit bio happened to be located a few dozen miles from Stamford, Conn. That could be a coincidence—one in a hundred, but still possible. It seems more likely that person had a connection to a WWE employee privy to early info that pointed toward the direction of a tragedy that might have involved Nancy’s death (by accident or otherwise).
The third coincidence is that the person had previous vandalized multiple pages on multiple subjects in Wikipedia, except once. Once he removed scandalous, vicious vandalizing of a page. Whose? Chavo Guerrero’s. What are the odds of the person who guessed right that Nancy was dead also lived in Stamford, and also showed a soft spot for Chavo, the one person in the world with more insight into what was going on with Benoit that weekend than anyone?
It still hangs out there as just too odd to write off as a mere coincidence all the way around.

Wade has power, duuuuuuuuuude!
The caller (you?) also sounds like the stereotypical mouth-breather often associated with conspiracy theorists. The YouTube page that uploaded that video also including gems such as a series on how the NFL is fixed just makes you a laughably boring cliche.
The Torch you quoted was written around 2 weeks after the Benoit tragedy, when it was still very much a developing story. The Torch, like the Observer, has always been editorial in nature. Wade gave his opinion on the matter based on what info was available at the time.
For you to accuse Wade of being a liar or facilitating some kind of grandiose cover-up because he changed his opinion almost a decade later when far more information has been released (such as police interviewing the kid who edited the Wiki) is reaching like a short fat kid grabbing for the cookie jar.
BUT WAIT!!! The goofy college kid who was trolling on Wiki was just a patsy, right? Because Vince has power, duuuuuuuuuuuuude!

Out of curiosity, who do you propose this insider is? Do you think someone who worked for the WWE was with Chris, Nancy, and Daniel the night that Chris Benoit killed them all and committed suicide? Why wouldn't this person have tried to stop it? And why would they care so much about updating wikipedia immediately afterwards?
To me it seems more likely that a kid was just trolling on the interwebs.

Samoan, What new facts appeared that got Wade to change his mind? and he simply could've just explained what those new facts are.
Milk, those are some good questions. If it was possible to have a discussion with somebody about this then maybe we could find out. Mushnick came to the same conclusion as Keller did before he changed his story. Mushnick interviewed the forensic investigator who was supposed to look at Greenburg's computer. He caught the investigator lying also.

Samoan, What new facts appeared that got Wade to change his mind? When the newsletter you quoted was published seven years ago, details about the local PD interviewing the kid who edited the Wiki page were not yet known. In the following years, video of the interview has been publicly released, with the detective even saying he initially thought that a WWE connection was possible considering the kid lived in Stamford literally down the street from WWE HQ. That is the same conclusion Wade and many others came to in the immediate aftermath of the double murder-suicide. In the weeks following the Benoit tragedy, WWE potentially being involved in the Wiki edit seemed absolutely feasible, given the coincidences in the time-table and the IP address being in Stamford. In 2013/2014, with so much additional info now available, only conspiracy theorists are still grasping onto the now baseless possibility of WWE being involved in the edits. It's pretty clear Wade's opinion changed once more facts became known. This isn't him being a liar or being part of some conspiracy; it's him shifting positions on a subject when more information comes out. People change their minds sometimes. It happens. Deal with it. I would accuse you of being purposely obtuse when you claim "he simply could've just explained what those new facts are" given how you approached Wade, but I honestly doubt you know any better. You repeatedly called into his show looking for a confrontation rather than a discussion. When you flat-out accuse someone of being a liar and take a hostile approach, they are going to get defensive or in Wade's case, simply dismiss you as a troll who wants attention. Basically, that is not how you start a conversation with someone if you want to have anything resembling a thoughtful dialogue. To be blunt, having a little people skills (which you exhibited absolutely none of) goes a LONG way when conversing with an adult.

Sorry, but you're grasping at straws and coming off like a headcase. The Wikipedia edit thing was just a very strange and even somewhat eerie coincidence.

The Greenberg kid in CT trolling on Wiki wasn't even the first person to publicly speculate that Nancy had died.
At least two other people came to the same conclusion when word was going around about Benoit missing the weekend shows and PPV, with someone even making the claim during a PPV live chat hosted by WWE, before the Wiki edit was ever made.

Somoan, So what are those new facts? I read through all of his newletters for the following months and there was zero printed about 'new information.' So why don't you just tell us all what is that new information?
Muchnick reported some new information and had nothing to do with coincidences and moon landing hoaxes. Police detectives caught lying usually means anything other than 'coincidence.'
Anytime you can post that new information.

Wow, this thread became much better after blocking. I'm guessing the OP is the person that phoned Wade's show a few times. I cheered each time Wade hung up on him. Considering susceptibility to "conspiracies" I'm guessing a tinfoil hat is probably within arms reach at all times.

anti, ladies and gentlemen:
And this is just part one of a SEVEN PART SERIES.
You need to get out more, kid. There's more to life than grasping onto conspiracy theories and buying Bitcoin while counting down to the collapse of the fiat currency empire, or whatever it is you do by yourself in the dark.
Perhaps increased human interaction would not only improve your people skills (which are atrocious), but also help with your comprehension issues, since you seem wholly incapable of reading an answer and processing the information.
