I'm betting WWE will charge something like $12.99/month in Canada. Doubtful, Netflix is still the same price as in US in Canada, and yes it has less content but I'm happy with the content overall. If Netflix can keep its rate the same I don't see why WWE would modify its price.

So in the UK the WWE ppvs are $25 each now; I could still see WWE network undercutting that. It did it for US PPV providers, so unless there's an exclusivity in SkySports deal I would think it's fair game. And why do you think UK would pay a higher rate than what US consumers pay?Thats just the way it is over here. Take Chromecast for example, $25 in the US when it launched, 6 months later it gets its UK launch and it costs £29.99($50). Right now Amazon US is selling PS4s for $340, Amazon UK is selling them for £335($450). TBH its a fucking joke but they dont call it 'rip off Britain' for nothing. But the Chromcast & PS4s are physical goods, which have to be shipped to the Uk and pay tariffs. WWE Network is a digital service -- like Netflix. Isn't Netflix cheaper in the UK than US? £5.99(7.59) versus U.S. $7.99? I understand Netflix UK has different Demand programming due to regional license contracts, but WWE retained all their rights worldwide (I believe) so the network should be the same everywhere in terms of content.

The $9.99 equivalent would be somewhere near £5/£6, I can't see them charging that low a rate for the network.

WWE Networks fate was sealed when they went way overboard with costs then totally cannibalized their PPV revenue in the US... everything else is just window dressing.
Honestly, if they had just rolled out this network infrastructure with their library as contents for the same price, I'd think they'd probably still have close to the same number of subscribers as they do now... and they'd still have all the PPV money coming in. Instead they bit the hand that feeds them and found out the hard way how much PPV really meant to the company.
If they're smart, they should admit defeat and more PPV's back to conventional TV and see what kind of subscriber base they can maintain without it. As time goes by, maybe more the secondary PPV's over to the network, but I think they should keep the big four shows on PPV exclusively. Keeps everyone happy that way.
Not sure it will happen. Which is sad, because the losses they're going to post are already sunk costs, and if they just maintained the library they could probably make a little money monetizing the archives... but I think when the final financials come in, they've gonna put a bullet in the networks head.

Not to mention the fact that I'm sure the WWE have realized by now that they undercut The Network's true value. Anyways, I don't think PPVs make a big difference anymore. If the WWE took them away from The Network then I think most disgruntled fans would just watch them for free at this point. As it is, it's just a bonus that they're on The Network and you don't have to pay out the wazoo for them anymore. But the true value of The Network lies in its library and that's what the WWE should concentrate on.

There are too many self-entitlement complaining people online that have no idea (or choose to ignore) that they get everything for the cost of 2 PPV's outside of 'Murica. I choose to just shake my head at them. None of them have offered a legitimate criticism to combat that point. I'm sure some of them may attempt in response to this comment. I'll just chuckle, SMH and walk away. I have no time for that kind of self-entitlement. BS justifications about how they deserve to get way more for less is weak. Those people did nothing to deserve that discount. They are getting a whole bunch of PPVs for 1/6th the price, and all the Network content. SMH. No excuses.
