RVD vs Joe That match made me happy as a fan of both of those guys in their prime, feel both of them can work well when they have oponnents that make them inspired to have a good match.
Brooke & odb vs kim & tara I am really done with both Brooke & ODB , more so ODB, TNA really needs to work on their babyface knockout pool.
Chavo vs Kurt Angle They had a really good match and it goes to show that Chavo's style is WWE style matches and not lucha like WWE made him work. At first I was like oh its Chavo the former cruiserweight champion, but with more performances like this, I know he fought Kurt Angle, Chavo could be a star some day down the road.
Storm / King Mo Thought Storm and Roode both cut really good interviews, but I thought King Mo came out like generic caw # 2 in mma shorts and wasn't a fan of the high tops over wrestling boots.
Random Parks and Aces Skit I thought this came off like a complete cartoon and yes, it looked like he was in danger, but they goto a segment with a 3 way next and just act like nothing happened. How can parks be in this much danger and cops not find the clubhouse when Hogan and Sting was there ?
3 way Hardy and Aries is about as flat as Sheamus and anybody he has fought in 2012.
Aces / Ray / Sting Alright segment, it is obvious that its another case that another program in wrestling is more important then a title. Also it seems obvious that Ray turns on Sting, I know this is suppose to be the big angle that rocks the foundations of TNA but its been spinning in its wheels for way too long and the angle feels dead but fitting with Hogan's obession with Death.
Overall I enjoyed this show, but going towards the ppv, its doesn't feel like its biggest show of the year.
6 STING MONS / Out of 10

I, unlike most wrestling fans, was quite excited at the prospect of seeing King Mo for the first time in a wrestling setting. I've seen interviews in which he reminisces about admiring heels like Rick Flair and Rowdy Roddy Piper when he was younger. I also saw his debut in Sengoku when he brought out his Japanese 'queens' that seductively danced around him, before he proceeded to KO Travis Wiuff like it was nothing. So as someone who I suppose is a fan of King Mo, I was really let down by what I saw tonight. He didn't seem comfortable and he really didn't leave much of an impression to the TNA audience.
And it's probably not his fault. It just baffles me that the guy never actually got to speak on the mic. He should've had girls dancing around him. He should've came out to an over the top southern trap beat blaring. Have a hype man that screams "KING!!!" so the audience would respond "Mo!!!!!" *fill the audience in on the whole call-n-response or else it'd turn out like Paul Buentello =)
We got NONE of that. He could've come across more charismatic and as a larger than life personality. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, and it's still early, but TNA better not fuck this up. But come on. what the fuck. What bothers me is that wrestling fans that don't know King Mo might think the guy is boring.
Rest of the show was average-decent. But I have to say, this build up to Bound for Glory is underwhelming on the whole...with the tag match being the only exception.
One more thing, Taz comparing RVD to Nick Diaz is pretty ridiculous unless you're referring to the fact that they're both potheads.

As campy and downright cheesy as TNA can be sometimes, that was a fun 2 hours of TV to watch.
While I enjoyed the entire show, my two favorite parts were the Knockouts match, which was fast paced and told a good story leading in to the pay per view and the Joey Ryan segment.
Joey got one of the loudest reactions of the night and played his role excellently. The program with him and Al Snow is a great example of how a long-running storyline should be done.
And hey, King Mo wasn't the trainwreck I expected either.
This got me more excited for Bound for Glory. Mission accomplished, TNA - 8 out of 10.

Alexander Rios.
A friend of mind told me to start watching TNA again, she said it had gotten really good ever since Russo left....what the fuck was she smoking? Granted this wasn't the train wreck it used to be, but it feels so flat and boring...the only real changes I've noticed are that Bully Ray Dudley has lost at least 50 pounds and Bobby Roode lost the belt to Austin Aries...how many Vanilla Midget jokes has Kevin Nash dropped on Twitter about this?
Anyway, on to the show itself. This King Mo guy, Ken Shamrock he is not, RVD vs. Samoa Joe looked....ugh, at most.
Aces and Eights looks like a trainwreck of a parody of Sons Of Anarchy....you sure Russo isn't still around?
2.5 out of 10.

I hate to keep beating a dead horse, but BFG is becoming increasingly uninteresting to me. Nothing about this show feels special. Aries has been cold since like 2 weeks after winning the title. Plus, now both competitors in the main event have been pinned by Bully Ray, begging the question as to why he is relegated to the tag match with Sting. There is no way to promote who the Ace’s and 8’s wrestlers are going to be, so there is nothing to get excited about there either. Zema Ion re-emerged from nowhere tonight and still doesn't get announced for a BFG match, despite being the X-Division champion. Magnus/Joe haven’t had any kind of onscreen confrontation in weeks. Finally, James Storm is in a no-win situation. If he beats Roode, he still isn’t the World Champion, or even number one contender for that matter, which is what this whole rivalry was built on. But, if he loses then he really looks like an idiot. Impact has taken a sharp and disappointing nosedive and killed what is supposed to be their biggest show.

Hey Wai and John. This isn't related to iMPACT! in any way, but I'm just writing to ask whether you guys have checked out the new CM Punk DVD yet. I have watched it already, and can say that it is easily one of the best WWE DVD releases of the last couple years, along with the True Story of WrestleMania and the Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels DVD. Hope you guys are doing well, and keep up the great work.

If I were to name this episode I would call it “A Dog's Breakfast.” Not sure where most of it came from nor do I know where it is going. Everything just seemed awkwardly put together.
A couple of other thoughts
Sting….your dish rag T-shirt and spandex ensemble makes you look like an overweight woman preparing to clean out her garage
Somehow Gail Kim’s overacting and Tara’s lack of acting makes for enjoyable television.
Mr. Anderson – If this show is a tuxedo then you are a pair of brown shoes (John of Ark are you listening?)
I like the Joey Ryan concept. How it is being executed is another story.
Dixie I am not in love with your “pan-fried” tan. Did you roll in Shake-n-Bake before the interview?
Forget the housing bubble what about the fast food cheese bubble? Good God, it was the hook for every ad. (Deep fried cheesecake nuggets?? Wow has society gotten lazy.)
On a related note, TNA needs to institute a fitness program. Joey Ryan's, Mr Anderson's, Doug Williams' and Jeff Hardy's guts are all bigger than their biceps. Somewhere the Sandman is smiling.
Why did Aces & Eights kidnap Mark Cuban?
Bully Ray could teach traffic school and I would watch.
Zema Ion – If you are so worried about your pretty face then why are you a wrestler? And the tattoo that covers your back. From a far it looks like a very large flower shovel. What gives?
4/10 – one point for Bully Ray, one for Bobby Rude's sharp suit and two for keeping Garrett Bischoff and Brook Hogan off TV.

(Probably too late as I posted this in the wrong thread by mistake) We are 10 days away from the main event of the TNA’s biggest show of the year both the champion and the challenger lose to Bully Ray, who ends up being involved in the Aces and Eights storyline. It really does tell you where the creative team’s priorities are right now even though the Impact Zone crowd is so invested in it they broke out in “We Want Devon“ chants in the final segment. So Sting decides to team up with a heel who suddenly wants to be his partner. Boy that kinda thing never bit him on the ass before in WCW… So let me get this straight that Bruce Pritchard is upset with security that Matt Morgan made a run-in at a house show but he doesn't say anything about the fact one of his employees is being held hostage and tortured by criminal biker ninjas? Ok this was a pretty decent addition of Impact. I liked Joe vs. RVD and Angle vs. Chavo was a lot of fun. Heck even the knockouts match was better than usual. I wish Ion and Williams had some more time to actually tell a story. Nice to see the Joey Ryan stuff finally build to something. Zema Ion’s character really is coming along nicely as a self-absorbed heel you love to hate but I’m not sure he’s really ready for this prolonged a title run. Jessie Sorenson isn’t going to be ready anytime soon they really need a program for Ion. The Bobby Roode/James Storm segment was solid even though this feud seems to have lost steam in recent weeks. They did a very good job of making King Mo look like a star and I laughed out loud when Roode actually tried to start a shoving match. It was like watching a guy poke a hungry bear with a stick. If TNA really wants King Mo to get over with wrestling fans he needs to do his full entrance from Sengoku complete with the rap song and the entourage of dancing girls. Maybe you could end the show with the King Mo Sengoku rap? www.dailymotion.com/video/x7yabg_....goku-7-en_sportOne other thing. Here in the US we got a commercial for a homeopathic aid and something called “the perfect tortilla maker.” I guess after last week’s Aces & Eights segment the advertisers decided that Impact’s viewers are gullible suckers who will buy anything.

This week's Impact so far: let's see - Jarrett's the leader of Aces and Eights, James Storm yells WAY too much in EVERY interview, who cares about the Knockouts division/Joey Ryan, when is Abyss coming back, Prichard is the Vince McMahon of the show, Zema Ion is the WORST heel on television, and turning Aries heel is idiotic. EVERYONE (other than someone name Sting) turns heel when they win the belt i.e Roode, Angle, Anderson, Hardy, etc. Also, I know you've mentioned this before, but when you think TNA, who do you associate it with? When you think WWE, you think John Cena, but who do you think when you play 'word association' with TNA? I know this is all random stuff; but watching Impact, I just can't think straight. I give it the Nate Milton (Grey's Anatomy diagnose) 6/10. P.S Should they just put blinking arrows, a reader board, and christmas lights that points out "BULLY RAYS TURNS ON STING?"

Impact overall i felt was a good show tonight i loved the sting backstage segments i thought he did a good job making the Bound for Glory match seem important. Anderson Vs. Gunner 28 was as expected to be a boring dull match and having him beat down both Kid Kash and Gunner after the match didn't do anything for me. The Al Snow Joey Ryan segment was to me the worst segment of the night until Al Snow announced he was Ryan's opponent for Bound For Glory the crowd pop was stellar. Joe/RVD was almost upsetting i didn't think it had any heat behind it at all, However if Joe defends every week hopefully he can get in better shape and be able to pull off some good TV matches. The Kaz and Danial's segment was hilarious as usual, they almost remind me of Sean O'Haire circa Invasion era. Chavo is continuing to prove week in and week out that he deserved a contract in TNA match of the night for me good to see him go over even if it was a roll-up. the commentary bugged me more this week than it ever has i truly think Borash should replace Tenay on play by play, not sure who to replace Tazz with however. King Mo is not going to work in TNA I don't buy an MMA fighter/pro wrestler in 2012. However i thought the segment did what it was supposed to and didn't drag. Why is prichard walking around like he's in charge isn't Hulk Hogan the GM? I liked the triple threat i may be one of the few people who think Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries are going to have a great match at BFG. Bully Ray is my 2nd favorite heel next to punk and he delivered tonight in the final segment I fear he's going to turn on Sting however i hope I'm wrong.
