It's a brilliant way to seamlessly make people forget about the loss to the Rock.

I set up Brock vs. Rock for Wrestlemania next year and work towards Cena/Taker.

i wasn't paying enough attention, is he gonna wrestle cena at XR? they should build that shit use it for summerslam, give him a big match at rumble and have him main event mania, they're gonna squander all of his dates before even get close to mania

Did anyone else notice that when Brock Lesnar first came out there was faint chants of UFC?

i don't want to see both of them (cena & lesnar) in a match. only funny fact, that cena will have to job again for some guy. nevertheless i never liked lesnar ... wwe likes those guys. i like good technical wrestlers, that can create awesome matches. not guys like cena or lesnar.

So common consensus is that we either get Brock/Taker or Brock/Rock next year.
The thing is though, that none of those three are guaranteed to be around after next years Mania which potentially means that everything you've done with Lesnar up until that point is meaningless.
They need Lesnar to constantly run through everybody he faces and lose just once, to whoever their guy of choice is, in the main event of next years Mania to give that guy a massive boost.
I would've suggested Cena for that - and to be honest it could still happen if they keep them apart for long enough after this feud. Otherwise, Orton, maybe Sheamus or Punk?
With all the talk about Vinny Mac being high on Ryback I'm wondering whether they couldn't force a Goldberg style streak on him and build him up to beat Lesnar....

WWE should pay Dana whatever he wants and get clips from his UFC days to build him up. The punches to Couture and Herring more specifically. ANd mybe a shot of Mir's face after UFC 100.

Cena has been on top for the past 8 years! him losing to Brock is fine and makes Brock look like a top guy right from the start. Yeah Cena losing matches does not hurt him at this point. An angle with him losing big matches leading to him needing to beat Undertaker at Mania to redeem himself would be pretty great IMO. The worst that will happen if Cena loses a match is a kid somewhere will cry.

Im half hoping lesnar runs over him pretty strong and cena goes byebye for a lil bit to freshen up this times infinity Lesnar character is likely void if he doesn't destroy Cena at Extreme Rules. The Cena character is rock-solid so to say with his fan base and safe longterm regardless of the loss.

I love how their giving us lesnar/ cena in 3 weeks instead of building towards summerslam.

I didn't mark out as much for Brock as everybody else did. I think its cool he is back, and good for the WWE, but he seriously needs to put someone over whose name isn't The Rock or The Undertaker.

I think they're rushing into his match with Cena way too early and on a B-level PPV at that. They could've had him wrestle anybody for his first match -- Kofi Kingston for example. And I don't really like the way he's been put into the storyline with Johnny Ace.
Brock/Cena should've been held off until Summerslam.
