The main difference is that HHH, Angle and even Shane weren't going 50/50 with mid-carders on their way up. They were pushed back when WWE knew how to push guys and remain over. How many times did HHH beat guys like Foley, RVD, Booker T, etc?
Roode barely beats Ziggler and Nakamura cant beat Jinder. Who wants to cheer guys who lose so much?

His career became 50/50 well after he was already a made guy. HHH from 98 to 03 went over basically everyone. Roode, Nakamura, Bayley, etc are losing right out of the gate and become damaged almost instantly.
Lesson of the day....WWE shouldn't hire anyone with hype....if they lose a match or not in the Wrestlemania mainevent first year it's a burial and they dropped the ball....Even though that's exactly how people were reacting to AJ's first 3 months.

More than anything, I think WWE hires guys solely to hurt other promotions.
Why hire Gallows and Anderson? They have done nothing with them in almost two years.
The thing is that NJPW is fine - they've been able to rebuild and reload easily. They actually know how to book. WWE does whatever the 72-year-old man running the company feels like at any given moment with no long-term plans.

You cant honestly think WWE's booking is better in any way than New Japan's. Which company has made more stars over the past few years?
There is no long-term booking in WWE, hence why no one is over and nothing matters. The only thing really planned is Reigns getting his 47th "coronation" this year at Mania. Nothing else is being built.
Hell, just explain what happened in the main event of Survivor Series. Please.
