Depends on what you mean by "better off".
He'd definitely be having better matches, that cannot be debated. As for his popularity? Probably not. He's on a much bigger, easier to access stage. He's probably making pretty damn good money and presumably his body is in better shape since he's not having strong-style matches anymore.

Match with Owens last week wasn't good? Sure thing pal. Zayn was freshly returned from being Kevin Owens personal bitch.....hardly the dream match we made it out to be with hindsight. Nope. Please tell me you don't actually think last week's match with Owens was better than Zayn match. Match with Zayn was a moty candidate, I just said his match last week was good. I don't know why I'm even debating you, you already announced his arrival as a flop as soon as he cut his first promo. Your mind has been made up and there's no opening your mind or teaching you patience.

It also might be that Vince is trying to sabotage Nakahoma by keeping the lights so bright during his matches. The poor guy has to squint the entire time. Anyone that watched Jake the Snake vs Rick Martel at Wrestlemania 7 knows how hard it is to wrestle when you can't see.

Nakamura is doing just fine if you ask me, they gave him teh longest reign of NxT title, he can talk (minimally) he wrestled good matches. A squash match won't do squat for him, problem is his build he's small as shit and looks small. Probably why they don't have him remove most of his outfit when he wrestles, to make him bigger then a twig... As for a 50/50 match with Ziggler, Ziggler sold a lot for him in the match and got some offense, I would rather see him come out on top then watch a squahs match that well you knew would be one. At least with Ziggler you believe he has a change to win the match and THEN he loses. Small? He's bigger than Styles and Owens. His build isn't an issue at all. Dolph took like 75 per cent of the match and then Nakamura hit a few moves and went home. How does that position him as anything other than another guy? Ziggler loses to everybody. Squash matches at least get the crowd more familiar. Most of the non-smark cities dont watch NXT and have no idea who he is. Seeing him barely beat a guy like Ziggler, who loses all the time, does nothing for him. If he's bigger then AJ that would surprise me, or its his getup, he looks skinny as hell to me, and he is smaller then Vinnie's dream boy Roman so doesn't matter. A story was told in that match, and Dolph lost yes, lost to Nakamura, Ziggler may never win but you can bet he is believable as an oponent, I see Ziggler as more then enhancement talent by that I mean that technically he is just a glorified jobber, but he is someone who you could get behind. Nakamura doesn't need and would not be believable (to me to MY opinion) as a "squasher" hes a wrestler and he needs to look good by yes taking some damage and giving back more. As to your argument of "smart crowd" only knowing him, well his intro was in Chicago if I am no tmistaken and it went over, and the next time I saw him on TV he was also over so I'm not sure why you think he isn't being pushed. EDIT: I will correct myself, I goggled and according to goole Nakamura is 104kg (230? pounds or so) and AJ is 99kg, or around 218 or so? I still content that the "look" makes Nakamura look smaller to me, and again its my opinion...

Nakamura has never been much of a physique guy, so others look more muscular and I guess that's why people think he's smaller. I don't think he looks smaller at all, he fits in just fine. It's not like he's Rey Mysterio in there.

If you look at them standing side-by-side on Smackdown during the backstage segment where Zayn is supposed to act annoying then it's pretty obvious who is bigger.
Speaking of Nakamura, why are they so insistent on having the guy talk? That Talking Smack appearance was hard to watch. During the match he got his ass kicked, made the hot tag to AJ and then stood on the apron. Awesome way to make a star. Oh wait, he got to raise the briefcase at the end of the show - how "symbolic" (of him having zero chance of winning MITB).
Corbin will win the case because he's tall.

Or they are feeling out for the next winner, I remember one year the build up to MITB had almost every participant at one point or another climb up the ladder to "claim the briefcase as theirs" and they were gauging crowd reaction overall. As for your predication on the winner. l*GOD I HOPE NOT!* Can't stand Corbin, something about him just rubs me the wrong way.

At this point I would say yes, but as others have pointed out it's still early days for him on the main roster.
That being said, NJPW seem to be catering a little to Nakamura in recent weeks, paying tributes to him etc. And with the loss of Shibata and Niato not getting over as strongly as Nakamura did, they have to be recognizing the opportunity they would have right now if they could somehow bring him back.
Anyways it's a moot point. He's locked into the WWE for the next few years so we'll see how he does. Like how NJPW are entering America, I think WWE are trying to enter Asia and Nakamura could play a big role in that in the future.

If they're feeling out for a possible winner then they're pushing it a bit as the show is on Sunday and only Nakamura has done that spot, they haven't really tested anyone else out. Personally I'd like Nakamura to win but don't see it. I do see Corbin having it and he's a fine choose. Guys like Owens & Styles don't need it, sadly it'd be wasted on Zayn & Ziggler (more so Ziggler, if Zayn could do fine with it) and Nakamura might be too expected now.

Nakamura is one of those guys who doesn't need that briefcase to get themselves a title match. More likely to have a title match than the guy who wins the ladder match.
Sami my dark horse pick being neurotic self carrying around the briefcase, overthinking cashing in. Going up to wrestlers and giving his plan away on when and how he would cash in is good TV imo

First and final warning. Anything else remotely approaching this will result in a ban.
