While it's too early to call it a complete lost cause, I believe it's fair to say that his run in the WWE has been disappointing.
Meanwhile, there are some good things going on in New Japan.
IMO, a program with Okada, Omega, or especially Naito is much more interesting than anything he could be doing in Vince world.

What is it with people wanting EVERYTHING & RIGHT NOW.
Like deezy said...he's had only a handful of matches and you're already bitching & moaning. Get a hold of yourself, FFS.

He did his in-ring debut at Backlash and has constantly been in the main events of Smackdown in the short time he's been called up. I think this reaction might be because he has had that awesome blow away Nakamura match that we all know he can have but there could be many reasons for that and I feel the main one is that he probably shouldn't be doing those matches on the WWE schedule. Anyways like it's been said, it's still very early days for his main call up.

Two fucking matches.....this is a marathon, not a goddamn race. I have to agree with Deezy here again... While his delivery is sometimes sarcastic as fuck, he makes a valid point, they are not BURYING hime, he is just being slowly pushed. I though (while others will disagree) that his matches with Ziggler were a good way to introduce him. The guy cannot talk (or at least thats how they are showing him to be) so given time maybe he'll speak better english but for now he's still the stereotype character. However and having said that, the fans are keeping him somewhat elevated on their own, so give him time either they will bury him or make him champ eventually.

It's worth giving time but I really wish they had given him some squash matches to get him and his style over. Putting him in there and barely beating Ziggler for his debut was a horrible idea.

in terms if in ring match quality, Nakamura would have done better in New Japan over the last 16 months than he has done in NXT/WWE.
That said, he will be perfectly fine in the WWE over the long run and it is WAY to early to be shitting on his WWE run.

It seems like there's a small portion of fans who are openly rooting for his failure as a "I told you so" scenario and looking to jump the gun on everything.

Nakamura is doing just fine if you ask me, they gave him teh longest reign of NxT title, he can talk (minimally) he wrestled good matches. A squash match won't do squat for him, problem is his build he's small as shit and looks small.
Probably why they don't have him remove most of his outfit when he wrestles, to make him bigger then a twig...
As for a 50/50 match with Ziggler, Ziggler sold a lot for him in the match and got some offense, I would rather see him come out on top then watch a squahs match that well you knew would be one. At least with Ziggler you believe he has a change to win the match and THEN he loses.

Suzuki Nagasaki is doing just fine. Be glad that Vince doesn't have him come out in a coolie hat saying "Ah so! Me so sorry!" as he comes to the ring

Dolph took like 75 per cent of the match and then Nakamura hit a few moves and went home. How does that position him as anything other than another guy? Ziggler loses to everybody. Squash matches at least get the crowd more familiar. Most of the non-smark cities dont watch NXT and have no idea who he is. Seeing him barely beat a guy like Ziggler, who loses all the time, does nothing for him.

I'd rather have him telling stories and having good matches than playing Braun Strowman.
Did we whine when he was going to to to with Sami Zayn when he made his NXT debut?
Also, Suzuki Nagasaki?

Good matches? He hasn't had one since being called up. At least with a squash he can show off some of his offence, all he's been doing is getting beat up and painting.
The Zayn thing was different because Zayn was coming off an NXT title reign and was just called up. Ziggler has been a low mid card guy for years and loses to everyone.

Match with Owens last week wasn't good?
Sure thing pal.
Zayn was freshly returned from being Kevin Owens personal bitch.....hardly the dream match we made it out to be with hindsight.
