I read from other places that once Goldberg won the title and would go on to main event Wrestlemania, many were stating this is how Sting should've been treated. A world title run and Wrestlemania main event.
So if that's the case would 2014 work like this?
Sting debuts and takes on John Cena in a dream match for the WWE world title at Summerslam 2014. Meanwhile Brock won the MITB match.
Sting holds onto the title until Wrestlemania 31, gets the main event against the Undertaker for the WWE world title. Undertaker wins, Brock cashes in to one up Undertaker again at Wrestlemania.
Would this be a good way towards building up Sting and basically giving him the title and treating him better than they actually booked him?
Or was basically Sting booked just right where he should be facing HHH in gimmick match at Wrestlemania 31?

Some would argue that Goldberg shouldn't have the title now. I think Sting was booked just fine in his WWE matches, granted he could have been booked better in the actual match with Triple H but outside that he was fine. You're also talking about very different characters. This run has been working for Goldberg because he's a killer killing guys, just like he did a 20 years ago.

Sting had two WWE matches and lost both. WWE dropped the ball huge when Sting lost his first match against Triple H. In what world did that booking make sense?! After that he lost to Seth Rollins which was ok, but to say the WWE booked him "fine" is just incorrect. There is so much more they could have done with Sting. Winning a match would have just been the start!

Sting doesn't care about his wife /loss record in WWE, not sure why others feel like he's been slighted in some way.
He signed before survivor series, was out against the main heel in the company and had a Mania match, also facing the champion too.
What am I missing?

Sting won the match for his team by making Rollins tap to the Scorpion Death Lock IIRC.

I agree he should have won that first match but it's not like it hurt him much. Plus he got seriously injured in that 2nd match, you can't really say he should have won that.

Sting also beat Big Show by DQ, he's 2-2.

Glory hog Seth Rollins didn't need to bury another new talent. He's worse than prime Hogan.

I think Sting is pretty happy with the way his life is going.
Translation: He doesn't give a fuck about winning or losing. He's above wrestling. Has been since '99.
