Many have already made picks in a few different threads, but here's one place to log predictions and otherwise discuss Sunday's show. As usual, card comes from whatever the Wikipedia page says at the time this thread was created.
Braun Strowman wins the Royal Rumble: I'm very much enjoying having no real idea who is going to win the Royal Rumble, but Strowman is my pick as of this morning. I don't think Goldberg and Lesnar at Wrestlemania will be for the title, and I've talked myself out of The Undertaker winning. Also, I think the upcoming Elimination Chamber PPV rules out all of the Smackdown guys. That leaves me with visions of Strowman vs. Roman at Wrestlemania.
Roman Reigns d. Kevin Owens: Speaking of which, I think Reigns walks away with the strap here. The combination of Jericho in a shark cage plus the new No DQ stipulation and the conspicuous removal of Seth Rollins from the card points to Seth helping Reigns win the gold.
John Cena d. AJ Styles: I've changed my answer a few different times. But right now I'm saying Cena wins this Sunday, loses the belt without being definitively beaten at Elimination Chamber, then wins its back at Wrestlemania to break Ric Flair's record.
Charlotte d. Bayley: I think Bayley will eventually win the belt, but Charlotte's PPV streak will run at least until Wrestlemania.
Neville d. Rich Swann: Unless they're taking Neville out of the division (not a good idea), all of the build says he should win here.
Becky/Nikki/Naomi d. Alexa/Mickie/Natalya: Nikki pins Alexa to start the eventual Wrestlemania title program.
Pre-Show Cesaro and Sheamus d. Gallows and Anderson: The two referee stipulation makes me think we're going to get something stupid, like Cesaro makes Gallows tap while Anderson gets the pin on Sheamus. But if I was going to pick one team or the another, I'd pick Cesaro and Sheamus because it's the pre-show.
Nia Jax d. Sasha Banks: Nia wins or at least stands tall after Sasha wins by DQ or quick pin.

Rumble: As of today I'm going with Jericho winning the rumble and them doing Owens/Jericho at Mania. Maybe even title for title.
Universal title: As of my last choice it's clear I'm going with Owens. Before the no DQ I was leaning Reigns but now I see someone costing Reigns and that being his Mania program, maybe even Braun with the simplest explanation of Braun just doesn't like Reigns.
WWE title: I'm really torn here and could see it going either way. Personally I'd be let down with AJ losing as I think he deserves a big Mania spot and I would personally prefer Cena tying the record at Mania but that kind of depends on what the plan is for Cena at Mania. I wouldn't like them tying and breaking Flair's record in the span of 3 months that seems too much.
Raw Women's title: Charlotte for sure, Bayley will probably win it at Mania.
Cruiserweight title: Neville taking it, not been much of a fan of Swann for a long time. He's good in the ring at times but nothing special while Neville has been the complete package since turning heel.
6 women tag: Agree that Nikki will likely pin Alexa here, that or Natalya to end that feud but Nikki picks up the win here.
Raw Tag titles: Yeah I see the same kind of finish just so this is prolonged. Starting to think the club will never got those belts.
Jax/Banks: Would prefer Banks to win here.

I wouldn't mind Reigns vs Strownman at wrestlemania. Its 2 people I don't like, fighting for the title I don't like. So you kill 3 birds with 1 stone. Rest of Wrestlemania will be awesome.
4 days away I think Finn Balor will win the Royal Rumble.

I am loving that this is probably the most unpredictable Rumble in a LONG time. There are at least 5 people you can make solid cases for winning. Jericho, Strowman, Goldberg, Lesnar, and Undertaker.
I want Owens to retain....but I fear it's not going to happen.
I want Styles to retain.....but I feat it's not going to happen.
Charlotte to retain over Bayley Neville to win the title from Swann women's 6-person - who cares Jax/Sasha - who cares Gallows and Anderson to win the title cause 15th time is the charm

The Club wins, build a legit strong heel team and let some babyfaces chase for a while.
Nia wins, why build her up all this time otherwise.
Naomi pins Alexa, it fuels their feud by putting Naomi on the map, and Alexa can claim it was a fluke.
Neville wins, Cedric and others can chase the Brock of the cruisers.
Charlotte wins, it's a PPV and that's what she does.
Cena wins, tying the record here makes this event seem even bigger and that's what WWE is obsessed with right now (biggest Rumble ever, remember it!). AJ is working the unappreciated, overlooked thing lately, this will fuel it.
Reigns wins, KO v Y2J at Mania doesn't need the Universal title attached.
Samoa Joe wins the Rumble, who will he go after, Cena or Reigns? Tune in each week to find out!
Mania: Joe v. Cena (WWE Title) Taker v. Reigns (Universal Title) KO v. Y2J (US Title) Wyatt or Orton v. Styles Balor v. Strowman Lesnar v. Goldberg Triple H v. Rollins

Becky/Nikki/Naomi d. Alexa/Mickie/Natalya: Nikki pins Alexa to start the eventual Wrestlemania title program. Not gonna lie, I missed Smackdown this week and until I listened to John & Wai yesterday, I had it in my head that the Nikki/Natalya thing was winding down. Turns out they haven't had a singles match on TV (except a No Contest that never got started) during their current program. Either way, I stand by my pick for the result, even though my logic was off.

A random thought: Are there too many "monsters" in the Rumble? I have heard various online pundits peg Strowman, Lesnar, Goldberg, Corbin and Big Cass for the "Kane spot" (I call it the 1994 Diesel spot, but whatever). And then there's also Undertaker, the Wyatts, and a guy like Dolph Ziggler in the midst of a shiny new heel push.
It's safe to assume that Lesnar, Goldberg and Undertaker will all get their chances to shine in some manner. But among the others listed above and the rest of the field, who do you all think gets a decent run in the Rumble and who do you think gets the short end of the stick?

this is by far the most excited I have been for a Rumble in many many years. Combination of big guys and so many options of winning.
After hearing Meltzer go over it on his radio show, I am going to remove Goldberg from the list of potential winners. Cause I don't see how they would get the title on to Brock before Mania.

Just like many of you, I have had lots of intrigue about this year's Rumble being less predictable and have been patiently waiting to see things unfold. My issue is the group of people who want Tye Dillinger to be #10. I'm worried that just like previous Rumble's, a portion of the audience will want something to happen, and when it doesn't they'll shit on the match because they didn't get what they wanted even though no one said it would happen. Also, I'm not looking forward to the crowd chanting "10!10!10!" when the clock counts down to each entrant. I feel like it will be too much hijacking.
Furthermore, if this road to wrestlemania some how leads to AJ Styles v. Shane, I'm going to puke.

I see Strowman getting the prolong Kane spot, of him dominating for a big chunk. Whereas I see guys like Lesnar & Goldberg killing whoever is in there and then getting thrown out soon after, don't see them going long especially Goldberg.

I'm sooooo looking forward to this Royal Rumble match, In 2015 I couldn't enjoy it properly as I knew that they weren't going to change plans and eliminate Roman Reigns as well as in 2016 because I was just waiting for Triple H to show up.
So with it being unpredictable, I'm going to watch the match as I would as if I was a 12 year old watching the Rumble 92 video for the 1st time and not think of potential WrestleMania matches.
I just hope that my pet peeve of a Wrestler being eliminated by someone not in the match or just been eliminated doesn't happen.

John Cena verses Randy Orton version 260.
Seriously. According to wrestlingdata.com, they have faced each other in some form 259 times before.

I'm not going to bitch about the ending.
All matches delivered, we got an all time classic match between Cena and AJ, I'm not gonna cry because someone didn't make a surprise appearance. The internet forums didn't dupe me into thinking people not signed or planned into anything were gonna be there. We had all the big names advertised beforehand.
