One the year end show the guys brought up a great point regarding the Young Bucks - they've proven you can be successful and make money outside of the WWE. We are also seeing other wrestlers like Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, Cody Hall, Will Opsrey seeming to prefer the lighter schedule and greater freedom that working for ROH and NJPW. If this group prove that the Young Bucks aren't an anomaly and one can be just as successful outside the WWE as inside, we could see WWE start losing some of their top talent in the next few years?

No, because for most guys being a "WWE superstar" is more than enough.
Ziggler, Cesaro, even a guy like Ryder had their chances to move on and try the indy route but decided to stay and are still stuck in the same midcard sludge that they've been in for the past five years plus.
Too many guys from this generation are marks for WWE and would rather be a low to mid-card guy in WWE than main event anywhere else.

I think WWE's losses will be more of the Young Bucks variety - guys who "should" be in WWE but aren't - rather than actually seeing current WWE guys opt to go elsewhere. Without knowing anybody's financial (or family/personal) situations, I can't pinpoint many WWE guys who would be better off on the independent/international scene... maybe some of the cruiserweights, but it's really too soon to tell for most of the them.

Well the bucks are pretty unique in being straight edge family driven brothers who like to be able to to spend time with there family.
They can work less dates, lighter schedules and still make big cash because they don't want or need the WWE grind that would actually stop then enjoying what they do. So instead they can get more merch money, work what they want to and be in demand as there not exclusive.
Cody Rhodes left his guaranteed but unhappy job for his list of Indy opponents and seems to be happier for it. The amount of guys who are willing to say "no thanks" is higher than before but it will prob always be a small number.

It's also only really the low level guys who can make more outside WWE. You're also relying on being a top guy on the indies when you leave and that's not guaranteed. Look at guys like Adam Rose and Ryback, who I never hear getting bookings in the bigger indies. Cody Rhodes is probably doing well because he has those "dream" matches out there and many want to bring him in, same with Del Rio although that guy shoots himself in the foot most of the time at shows. I also have to back up thebenjamin and say many just love being a WWE superstar. A guy like Cesaro could go back to the indies and kill it I beat but I think he likes the idea of being a WWE guy and maybe get that push at some point, he also gets to travel the world and do some incredible things that the indies don't promise to do.

End all be all is WWE....No matter what the elitist portion of fans think.
Just because a small group can make money outside of the bigs, don't make it a pattern.
Just because Brody and Hansen were making a living outside the WWF and WCW, didn't mean most Japanese tour guys were doing the same.

I think that's why only a small amount can make that cash, you have Rhodes, the Bucks, and a few others that cost big money to have on your show. If there were 30 talents of that level they could never charge that and get booked.
There's a reason WWE is the biggest, and attracts big talents and financial strength and pay is a clear factor

But some guys (like Rhodes) could decide to leave. Second, you can't only go by the past. The example's of guys being extremely successful, making money, being very well known without the WWE is are fairly new/recent.

Do you mean WWE talent leaving for other promotions? Because if so, we've already seen it with Cody Rhodes and several NXT guys who just never got the call up (Ethan Carter III, Eli Drake, etc). It is rarer for a top guy to leave, but we've seen that in the past too with guys like Kurt Angle, CM Punk, The Rock, Christian, Sting, Jeff Hardy, Brock Lesnar, etc choosing to work outside of the WWE system.
Economically speaking, the WWE can't have every wrestler on the planet under contract and also feature them prominently on television, so there are always going to be guys looking for greener pastures.
