Excluding Money In The Bank cash ins and Hulk Hogan's impromptu challenge against Yokozuna at WM 9, Was Goldberg VS Brock Lesnar the quickest ever scheduled Main Event?
I cant think of one

A list I found via Google (that was a few years old) had these as the two shortest scheduled main events in WWE history:
John Cena vs. The Great Khali (Judgment Day 2007) [8:15] Steve Austin vs. Mr. McMahon (St. Valentine's Day Massacre 1999) [7:52]
Though Austin/McMahon had several minutes of brawling prior to the bell.

This was on Nitro, not a PPV. But I still appreciate any time it gets brought up, because it needs to live forever. That whole situation, from Schiavone giving out Raw spoilers right on through the end of the show, is a beautiful, beautiful disaster.

I think Lesnar beat his own record, wasn't him and Bob Holly around 6/7 minutes? Though not the Main Event I just realised...

Batista beat Cena in 32 seconds, but it wasnt the main event of the show. So that wouldn't count either.
Jeff Hardy vs Sting from TNA might be a contender, as that was a very fast match.

The Wikipedia page for Victory Road says 1.28 for Sting and Jeff Hardy. So that might have been the previous shortest advertised main event if you count TNA.

ECW Hardcore Heaven 99 scheduled main event was Taz VS Chris Candido, the match only lasted 70 seconds but as this was ECW, the match actually was the opener.
Don't know if that counts. Taz was never scheduled going in to be wrestling twice.

Hardy/Sting was the first one that came to my mind. Surely last night was the WWE record.

Hardy/Sting was probably meant to go longer until Hardy got into that state. I honestly can't think of a really short PPV main event.
