So apparently this is currently doing the rounds: Purely gauging appetite at the minute but still hinting at some very intriguing things, including a weekly CWC show and access to TNA and ROH... Assume there must have been some sort of negotiations with Sinclair, otherwise seems a bit inappropriate to be intimating the possibility of ROH content on the network. Either way, can't see the current price being kept the same if they have indeed purchased the TNA library.

I'm surprised they included TNA & ROH, which as of right now they have no deals with, and not Evolve or Progress who they have worked with regularly in the past. Also that $5 extra doesn't really seem that worth it unless you have no way of watching the indies, which is unlikely as every company seems to have an on demand service.

Although ROH themselves don't. At least not a subscription model. You can become a member but that just gets you discounts. Even TNA have/had a subscription channel on YouTube. I believe John and Wai briefly subscribed to do a TNA show for Review A Wai. Also again the rumours are that EVOLVE and Progress will be involved. Which would be interesting for the WWN.

I've used the TNA one in the past when the guys were reviewing Lockdown for Review-a-Wai, you only pay £1 to rent a show. So that makes sense. Evolve and Progress now make less sense, both have their own established sites (I'm subscribed to Progress at least). Progress is also not PG friendly at all and would hate to see them change their style just to please WWE, although I do doubt that would happen. Anyways back to the original post, I don't think that would make me subscribe to the network. I had it for a free trail and watched everything I wanted then, while they are producing new shows all the time it's not often that I feel like I must watch it. It's also a time issue, I couldn't justify paying for a service I'll barely get to use. So while it won't get me I do see it grabbing others and it's at least worth a try, also the fan perks could be enticing to fans who go to the live shows etc.

Nor much of the Attitude-era content already on the network. I don't think it would be too difficult to put an age restriction on certain content. I highly doubt there's many 10 year Cena fans who would be interested in anything non-WWE in any case. Certainly not that would be in charge of the monthly bill. It's clear WWE's ultimate end game is to make the network a one-stop shop to cater to all types of fan so to limit themselves to PG content wouldn't make much sense in that regard.

I'm just thinking about when Progress recorded the Cruiserweight Classic qualifier matches and asked the crowd to be PG. I've also realised they have all of ECW up there and they keep a lot on those shows which they could edit out.

I don't see the problem with WWE buying up content that will be "non pg" it's not THEIR content after all so they can slap a "non pg" rating on what needs to be and let it go at that. Unless its a true wrestling fan most won't bother going around to seek non WWE events anyway. So WWE Bring on the Nude female mud wrestling! (J/K)!

A tiered system makes a lot of sense. I'm surprised this wasn't introduced a lot sooner considering we're almost 3 years into the "Network Era". What didn't make sense to me was the $4.99 tier showing the "Big 4 PPVs" but not any of the others. Shouldn't it be the other way around? You get the ~16 non-Big 4 PPVs but have to upgrade to $9.99 for the big ones?
I would love to see some outside content on the Network like EVOLVE, Progress, Revolution Pro, ROH, etc. since I hear so much about outside content but don't feel like subscribing to 3-4 different services for all my wrestling. WWE would likely have to cut a pretty big licensing cheque to even get a lot of this content though and it wouldn't make sense for some companies that have existing services to shut them down to bow to WWE where they'd be getting less money out of it.
If this goes through in 2017, I'm guessing EVOLVE and Rev Pro will be the first/only ones for a while.

A tiered system was an eventuality, I am more wondering if they are actually going for being a content provider for PPVs of smaller companies, like I and many more were calling for since the network announcement.
Really would corner the niche market and make the network the only wrestling hub out there.
