Judging by the latest backstage video it seems safe to conclude that Cesaro isn't exactly very happy with how he is being utilised at the moment, and tbh I can't blame him. While I can see why Big Cass is considered to be more worthy of being in the fatal four way for the brand's top title over him it defies any normal (as opposed to Vince's) logic - surely you should insert a face that the crowd actually likes (as opposed to Reigns) AND in their minds at least has a chance of winning...
Not sure if WWE are simply letting him run his mouth in these web promos in the hope letting him get it off his chest on a relatively obscure medium will placate him, if it is a deliberate ploy/gimmick or if they are just ignorant to it but I can see him going the way of Ryback/The Big Guy pretty soon and wanting out and not going quietly about it. All power to him if so, he'd make a killing back in the indies as Claudio again.

Big Cass in that match doesn't make much sense. You could have easily put a guy like Cesaro or Zayn to the same effect, maybe even better as they've had established single pushes where as Cass is still seen as a tag wrestler. Cesaro is a guy WWE just won't get behind, even when it looks like they will they actually aren't. I'm thinking of when they put him with Heyman and we all thought that was the best thing he needed as WWE weren't high on his promos and it lead to nothing. The guy is super talented in the ring and these promos show he has plenty of personality but isn't given a platform/chance to show it.

Hes tied to Sheamus, Cesaro's push is coming, he'll just take longer than most because he can't promo for shit.
But he'll get his Benoit run, fans can make that go faster by giving him standing I'd after his matches to show the guys in Gorilla.

I had a legit lol when Cass and Enzo were out their trying to get in the world title picture. What kayfabe case could they possibly have? Short term, Cesaro would make more $$$ outside of the WWE than he is making now. At least take home net money at the end of the day.

Cesaro needs a complete overhaul. Why does he come out dressed like James Bond and then rip his clothes off? It's a huge disconnect. I think they missed the boat in him after he win the battle royal at Mania. That was the time to push him to the moon and they chose not too. Both parties should move on

Has only been on the main roster for less than 5 years.
Be patient, it's going to happen.

they definitely missed the best chance with the Wrestlemania battle royal.
He's 35. I always think he is older. Just one of those guys that has had his name out there for 10-12 years. He became a name fairly fast over here in North America.

I think Cesaro's lost. He came up just a bit too soon. He had the indy hype of so many after him, but NXT was not there yet and so he was introduced to the main roster without any proper cred seasoning. Someone like Fin Balor could have walked straight into RAW but Cesaro wasn't quite at that same level.
At 35 he's too old now to go back on the indy circuit and then make it big upon his return to the WWE. His only real option is to somehow disappear for a year and then come back with a totally new character. First, give him both of his names back and then change his gimmick. He has the potential to be a main eventer but he's currently riding very close to Dolph Ziggler territory. To quote the late Owen Hart, enough is enough and it's time for a change!

Benoit and Eddie were 37 when they finally got their big pushes.
Acting like someone's age matters in pro wrestling.....it's weird how we somehow fetishize age like McMahon does for muscles(allegedly).
Maybe if these guys worked smarter instead of harder....they would have longer careers and more chances to get over. Instead of sitting on the sidelines in slings and casts.

That does also kind of highlight another point, Cesaro has only recently came back from a injury and they didn't use that chance to change much with him. They gave him a "James Bond" gimmick that most don't like and that plays no part in his ring work.

Who are the "most don't like" in that statement? When he debuted it, it seemed like a hit, mainly because it tied in with that JBL and Cole show character.....I don't like it mind you, but what exactly does he have in terms of charisma? Yeah, we can get behind a good match when watching a match....that's not going to make people go see him.
Also, bitter promos are always going to work.....what do you do after that? Nothing.

A serious gimmick would do Cesaro a world of good. Nobody really takes a guy seriously who comes out in a tearaway suit and then rips it off on his way to the ring.
As for age, sure some guys got over when they were older, but it took a lot of build to get them there. It doesn't just magically happen overnight. If Cesaro is going to be a main eventer then a serious push for the guy has to happen sooner rather than later.

I don't like this current best of seven he's doing with Sheamus. Maybe I'm not smart enough to see the big picture but right now it looks like he can't come out of this looking good without making Sheamus look really bad. If Cesaro wins four straight Sheamus looks bad. If Cesaro loses the next one, he looks awful. If Cesaro wins three straight then drops match seven, Sheamus looks so-so which is where he was before but Cesaro looks worse off because he's a good guy who couldn't step up.

Kinda like Dolph Ziggler whose gimmick right now is he's the guy who was supposed to make it but never did.
