These suspensions are simply for superficial reasons, none of these people except for Eva Marie (who wouldn't have likely wrestled) are booked for Summerslam, so they're expendable for a month. I'm not saying that Del Rio et al. didn't all legitimately fail a test, but after seeing two of its biggest stars get popped (albeit one by a different organization), WWE may have decided to step up their testing game, assuming they would catch some lesser names to send a message. If I'm dirty and I escaped this round, I'm cleaning up my act for a while.

exactly, i think that the fact that it as been a while since they had alot of suspension do to the wellness policy was starting to raise eyebrows and the gouvernment was starting to look into it so they decided to suspended some of the guy they don'T use often so that they could get the gouvernment off their back especially with the loop hole they found for lesnar. The hell of an explanation is that? They got suspended because they did something. Otherwise you cannot be reprimated to save other people who actually do some serious shi... oh, it's WWE, nevermind.

Not that's they'd outright have the announcer guy stating she'd been suspended but that she wasn't able to compete for another reason. It's not like she would actually be doing much in the match in any case.

The cynical part of me thinks it's not even a case of stepping it up, more just actually acknowledging the results for the more expendable performers...

But really, the best part of her matches so far is when she takes her robe off and it's not like I'm awaiting anything better after that.

For Eva Marie, there's enough footage of her to probably do something like her Paris trip gimmick again.

The timing of all these suspensions is the crazy thing. Reigns was given an extra few days to finish his program. Del Rio loses to Cena and the his suspension is announced the next day. Then Paige who wasn't in a program a the time, the same day as her boyfriend. I am very curious about the time frame between the test, the result and the announcement. Eva Marie is the one with the most to lose at the moment although the suspension does seem to heighten the angle. The wellness policy seems to be taking a back seat to the storytelling.

There was a part of me that thought Eva's was a work, I'd hope they wouldn't do that with their wellness program.

Keep in mind Roman lost the most momentum, and therefore was the stupidest of the bunch. Even in drug violations, Roman gets the push.

Only thing the Wellness policy should monitor is prescription drugs and illegal ones.
But since for some reason they are held to a pro sports type standard, they have to pretend they care about PEDs and other things.
I want Hollywood studios and music companies to be held to the same standards. Hell why isn't American ninja warrior subject to drug tests?

Isn't American Ninja Warrior a one off competition show? It's not exactly the same as athletes who are doing their job all year round.

Still a competition and most contestants do multiple events throughout the season.
They specifically talk about that during the show.

If this tweet doesn't embed, its saying Eva Marie's suspension is an Adderall prescription snafu.
WWE slowly becoming the Adderall Era.

Paige suspended for another 60 days, warning signs of implosion, maybe she did stab Del Rio like I was joking about last week.
