With Lucha Underground Season 2 approaching, how about reviewing some Lucha Underground episodes?
Possibly Ultima Lucha parts 1 & 2, which is episodes 38 & 39.

I liked to idea by Wai in regards to having a poll for us to vote for what shows to review. I know John and Wai put in a lot of time going out of there way to watch and produce a podcast so that gives them the right to review what they want but hopefully at least once a month they can give us options and we can all vote. I'm sure I am in the minority here but I am a sucker for the shows where we look back and say "why the hell do I like wrestling." It has been a very long time and I am willing to bet over a year where John and Wai reviewed a very poor wrestling show where angry rants, blood pressure going through the roof, and giving a show a rating of negative zeros occurred. Hopefully we can get a WCW 99-00, TNA-NWA, or maybe you guys can do a review on a Court Bauer MLW indy show from the early 2000's soon.

Good ppvs are good, but train wreck are great

Lucha Underground reviews would be fun, as Wai doesn't seem to be familiar with the show. The 40-45 minute runtimes would make for easy viewing as well. I also second Ultima Lucha Parts 1/2 reviews (Total runtime of 2 hours)
Some additional episodes they should take a look at are 'Welcome to the Temple' (Episode 1), 'Aztec Warfare' (Episode 9), 'Grave Consequences' (Episode 19), 'Ancient Medallions' (Episode 27), 'Fight to the Death' (Episode 29) and 'All Night Long' (Episode 32)

I'd like to recommend a documentary focused upon pro-wrestling in the UK entitled "Grapples, Grannies and Grunts." It was broadcast by the BBC some four years back and does a fine, well-produced job at guiding the uninitiated into the contours of British pro-wrestling in the 20th century. It also possesses the boon of being narrated by Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who, Thor 2, Heroes and whatnot) and clocking in at under an hour. I recall at the time of its release William Regal pumped it a bit on Twitter, while criticizing for its limited scope (pro-wrestling in the certain parts of the UK and US seemingly do not exist according the narrative), but I think its shortcomings are overcome by the fact it does a comprehensive gig of portraying pro-wrestling as a pop-cultural phenomenon outside the US. A link to the documentary, for those curious: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILQmWal2Dus

I feel that something that the guys have barely touched is the rebirth of ECW aka WWECW. So with that in mind I'd like to suggest a couple of shows (since they're only a hour a piece). -September 4th 2007 (CM Punk's last shot at John Morrison's ECW title) -August 1st 2006 (Punk's debut and Show vs. Batista at Hammerstein Ballroom) -February 16th 2010 (Last ECW show with Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson for ECW title)

Got a couple more requests to add. I just watched Timeline the history of WWE: 1998 with Vince Russo. The guys did a great job with the WCW timeline 2000 and think they could with this as well.
Some other shows I think the guys haven't visited much is the weekly NWA TNA PPVs so got a couple of those to add. -April 30th 2003 (Raven vs. Jarrett for NWA title) -June 11th 2003 (AJ Styles wins his first NWA title) -August 20th 2003 (First Ultimate X match) -September 17th 2003 (Raven vs. Shane Douglas in a Hair vs. Hair match) - November 12th 2003 (Sting/AJ vs. Luger/Jarrett) -January 28th 2004 (Don Callis vs. Erik Watts for control of TNA) -June 2nd 2004 (First King of the Mountain match) -June 23rd 2004 (Jeff Hardy debuts) -September 8th 2004 (Final weekly PPV)

Hello there, gents! I have very fond memories of WWE No Way Out 2003. Taking place in Montreal 5 weeks before Wrestlemania XIX, I thought this was one of the best built PPV's the company ever put on, and it had card worthy of Wrestlemania itself. Matches included: HHH Vs. Scott Steiner (The REMATCH), Team Angle Vs. Benoit & Lesnar in a 3 on 2 handicap match, Undertaker Vs. Big Show, Hulk Hogan Vs. The Rock (The REMATCH), and the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Eric Bischoff. Seeing as how it is February, and we are on the road to Wrestlemania, please consider reviewing this show. Thanks! John and Wai reviewed this show way back in 2011. Check the archives.

I've never made a request before... but listening to old reviews... I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to hear the long awaited review of Wrestling Society X, episode 10. Your review of some earlier eps is one of the funniest I've heard you do

Here I go adding to my own post, but I would love John and Wai to review a collection of comedy matches. Matches like Kenny Omega vs. an 8 year old or Big Japan’s Poseidon Adventure match. I think this could be a light hearted fun type of review.

Hi guys, I have a feeling you've answered this question before, but I don't remember what the answer was. After listening to John discuss Sunny's book this week on R-a-W, I'm wondering if you'd consider doing book reviews. I guess I've listened to you discuss the Goldust 1996 character over the last 2 weeks and I'd be interested to hear you do a review of his book. Does it discuss that 1996 character and I guess the "cultural implications" of it? Or is it more of a whinge-fest about his relationship with his father? I'd read it myself, but it's impossible to find in Australia

While listening to Wrestlemania V R-A-W and the failure of finding the Akeem debut video, www.dailymotion.com/video/x40g4z_one-man-gang-becomes-akeem_newsI thought, what if John and Wai reviewed gimmicks from the 80s and 90s. Not like the career retrospectives, but like the debut vignettes and their debut match. Picking like 3-4 from the litany of gimmicks might give them a something light hearted after doing the depressing shows like Superbrawl 2000
