It was a pretty even Steven episode of RAW. I enjoyed watching the eulogy to Ambrose. And even the Hogan/HBK/Flair roundtable was kind of fun. Some decent matches. I felt it was an okay and a watchable episode, but I won't lie. I appreciate being able to DVR wrestling. Then things got kind of awkward. The WWE App, can be awkward. I don't expect you guys to review the post show for RAW. Just saying.

My only question coming out of Raw is what happened to the Big E/Kofi Kingston/Xavier Woods stable? I'm assuming it was dropped, which if that's the case, I can’t explain how much that pisses me off. That group had a lot of potential. Are we to just forget that angle ever happened? I know that's not the first time the WWE has done this, but this time it really irritates me. They expect to be taken seriously as a tv show, but I ask you, what other tv show does that? What other tv show starts a storyline, then, without any sort of on-screen explanation, drops it and expects its audience to act like it never happened?
I'm pretty sure Vince McMahon has gone on record and said that in the WWE, "We make movies". Well, if that angle was your idea of a movie Vince, then your movies suck.

DC from Niketalk here.
RAW was terrible. There is no other way to put it. Why do we keep punishing ourselves week after week? That Bellas segment was terrible. That opening segment was terrible. All of these short matches were terrible. What the hell are they doing? I can't wait to watch Nitro next week.
And at the end, Cena turns into a "monster" but then he goes and shows love to the less fortunate kids. Make up your mind Cena. (Or as Siri would say, Sina)

Pretty flat "legends" segment (which replayed like 4 times, despite being bad). Flair was the only one not covering up his bald spot.
It's like WWE is trying to see how many consecutive non-American US title holders they can have.
How close to "HLA" can WWE get with AJ Lee and Paige in the PG Era?
I would have marked if the ref in the Uso/Dust tag match had painted his face.
At the next Be A STAR event, Brock should just come in and LEVEL EVERYONE.
WWE doing a show dedicated to Jeff Hardy while he's still under contract to TNA? Vince just doesn't care any more.
I would have marked if a fan had thrown a bag of popcorn at the cinder blocks, breaking them.
Cena added a 6th move: the suplex. Taz is mad because that's the only move he ever knew.
Worst Raw in a long time (after a string of very watchable ones): 2 comically oversized 1960s Miz sunglasses out of 10

Chris (formerly) in China...
So I'm back in the US for the first time in 3 years, and it's my birthday. What do I get???
Well, after a great Summerslam and a hot Raw... things finally came back to normal. The opening segment with the Legends had potential to be something, and build to what should be an anticipated rematch... and unless they were trying to be Nyquil, they failed. As far as the matches tonight, the ONLY things that really stood out, stuck between lackluster rehash after rehash was Dolph Ziggler and Cesaro winning tonight. There is a God. Maybe we'll get lucky and have Cesaro win the US title again, and the two can unify the midcard titles together... yea, right. Slater Gator??? When did this happen? Where was Ryback after last week's hot reception he got? Sure it just was a hometown pop... but still. At least try to capitalize on something...
The "Family Reconciliation" segment was beyond predictable, and atrocious to watch. I enjoyed the Brie Bella storyline up to Summerslam, and the slap last week was epic... but I'd say at this point, the storyline has jumped the shark. I couldn't take anything Nikki said seriously at all. It's Hardy vs. Hardy all over again, with two siblings feuding and no one giving a shit... only this time we're guaranteed an absolute trash quality match.
The main event was a bore, with Cena trying to rip off Brock's gimmick at SummerSlam and play angry face... and the only time I gave a shit was when they paid tribute to Teddy Long with a Tag Team match, playa! Anyway I don't understand how tonight's Raw was supposed to play into any storylines or canon... little to nothing progressed... it felt like nothing even happened. If anything it felt like Groundhog Day! The most fun part of the evening was reading tweets from WWE Creative Humor on Twitter. To quote them, nights like this are why Brock Lesnar chose to work a limited schedule.

Good Raw tonight overall, with a few low points.
The roundtable was good, though it dragged a bit. I actually thought the Bella segment wasn't completely horrible, which surprised the hell out of me. I think "I wish you died in the womb" HAS to become a title-bout trivia soundbite. It just has to.
The Ambrose funeral was great, and the new feud with Reigns keeps the Shield breakup relevant! All to often we see groups break up and a month later it doesn't even matter. I'm looking forward to see how this all works out, as both Reigns and Rollins need to be protected, and Ambrose will eventually be back in the mix as well.
The main event was just odd. I get that Cena needs to be rehabbed, but it could have been done without demolishing the Wyatt family. There were a lot of other guys that could have taken that beating.

Worst ending to Raw in 10 years.
Completely and utterly buried the Wyatts. Sacrificed them to the Neon God that is John Cena.
Useless booking.
I hate myself for watching.

I think I can say without hyperbole that the Bella Twins' segment on Raw tonight was the most atrocious thing I have ever seen in pro wrestling. When all is said and done, this may overtake Sam Shaw as my least favorite storyline of 2014.
Paige, you are not Aksana. I know she was senselessly released months ago, but that doesn't give you the right to appropriate her "sexy crawl." You do not do it justice, so I have to ask you to cease and desist before you desecrate her memory any further.
But while we are on the subject, nice to see Natalya, the babyface, cheap shot Paige after getting beaten clean for no good reason.
Were my eyes deceiving me, or did my man "Bad Boy" Bo Dallas get to appear in two segments tonight while furthering an actual feud? I thought the WWE had "given up on him." Could have fooled me.
I like Slater Gator and everything, but how on Earth did a match between them and Los Matadores make it out of Superstars and onto the important show?
Finally I know there is a story they are trying to tell with Cena, but I was terrified for Bray Wyatt when it looked like Cena was going to use him to pull a "Lesnar." I've never been so happy to see a spur of the moment 6 man tag team match.

Great signs by the WWE Universe tonight. One sign read John Please C Me with a design that woman or child obviously dedicated precious time to produce, and my favorite sign read Eat, Sleep, Poop, Repeat. But the best thing I saw from the crowd was a guy wearing a black shirt with $9.99 on it. I want that shirt! I also liked how Cena left that grown man decked in the latest Cena merchandise hanging. There is an age limit for John's affection, sir. DON'T DOWNLOAD THE WWE SUPERCARD APP! You get a random deck of WWE superstar cards that rassle against other players is Singles, Diva, and Tag Team squash matches. Summer Rae is the worst card ever. The app's lame as shit. An okay Raw. Fucking Nikki Bella is a total bitch, no pun intended.

Tyrone from Fredericton, NB
-- Paige/AJ segment was very awkward. Their match at SummerSlam was quite good and had an awesome finish, but this angle has really sucked.
-- Damien Mizdow was actually brilliant. Good use of his impersonation gimmick.
-- Bellas were atrocious. "I wish you'd died in the womb" or whatever was sooooo unnecessary as well. Not only bc it came off cheap, but this storyline is not nearly heated enough for shit like that.
-- Sorry to be so negative, but the Cena stuff was terrible, too. Goddamn. He came back better than before the Lesnar match! Making jokes with Flair, too. Hulk Hogan took some months off and showed some weakness from Earthquake's Flying Whoopsie, and Cena can't at least pretend to be injured by BROCK LESNAR?

Swagger went from being the Road Warriors with Zeb to being Hacksaw Jim Duggan. I'm now waiting for him to turn into Krueger Kruschev.
Shut up Bo Dallas, no one cares.
Cesaro vs Van Dam was good, but it feels like Wrestlemania never happened.
AJ added another name to her involved list.
Rollins had a great speech and Reigns ruins his moment. I know it's supposed to build Reigns up, but I couldnt care less.
Great tag match, like you'd expect less from these guys. Liked the countout finish and the heel turn. Please drop the paint and I'll be a happy fan of the Rhodes.
Mizdow? Remember when Sandow had a future?
The handicap match gimmick with Reigns is done please do something else.
I was there when the summer of Slater ended.
I suppose tonight was the end of Brays run.
4/10

Cole from Philadelphia.
So so Raw tonight, the matches were sub-par but the progression of the story-lines were pretty well done and finally the Dust brothers have some direction can't say the same for Kane though the man's character is about as useful as a nun's vagina. So from a story-line progression standpoint I give this show 7 Miz/Sandow simultaneous spin moves out of ten.

Long time listener Chris from MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA!
The biggest disappointment of this RAW was the typical "Super Cena" finish couldn't leave the match as 1-on-1, we already had Big Show & Mark Henry vs Eric Rowan & Luke Harper announced for Smackdown earlier in the night, now where's the insentient to watch SmackDown.
The Dust Brothers match ended well and sets up a good story for night of champions. The Bella twins segment not the best worked but got the crowed over, Kane and Seth vs Roman Reigns was a good outcome, even if he almost took out king. Divas division has sadly a massive gap from AJ Lee, Nattie, and Paige to the rest of the WWE Divas. Great to see no roll-up pins tonight!
Where did the "Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods stable" go & also Sheamus' teased US&IC title unification match? and did we really need 3 RAW RECAPS during RAW (All the same)?
RAW is becoming 1 hour too long and the other shows are paying. (SmackDown & Main Event)
