Who's your fav Intercontinental Champion of the 1980's? It doesnt have to be who you think was the best IC Champion.

For me it's between honky and rude; rude never got out of his feud with warrior, but he loved that belt. Honky's title run made his career for the rest of time and I love his character. Some stellar promos and what the 80s was all about

For me it had to be Randy Savage which the IC Title helped elevate him to the next level. His match vs Ricky Steamboat is one of the best WrestleMania matches of all time

I've got to go with Honky! Always have loved the chickenshit heel and I was a mark for the title over the jumpsuit!

I only started watching around 1990 so for me the I-C title will always be associated with Mr Perfect, but as far as the 80's go it has to be Savage.

I went with Savage. He was IC Champ when I started watching wrestling and I always associate the IC Title with him.

I'm loving the respect I'm seeing for The Honky Tonk Man.
Many people dont remember how huge of a draw he was as the IC Champ, because people were chomping at the bit to see him lose.
That title used to mean something, even Jericho said that he felt like he made it when he won the IC Title.
