Surely we are all mature individuals who would never advocate "trying this at home"... But that doesn't mean that we weren't once young, dumb and ready to bump! What was the name of YOUR backyard FED?
Mine was M.E.W. - Main Event Wrestling. We held some matches in my buddy's basement on an old mattress. It was as shitty as you can imagine, but thank god we kept it relatively safe and didn't try any big bumps or hardcore bullshit. Probably only taped it a couple times before we got over it.
In later years, sometimes some friends and I would work spontaneous matches at keg parties and the like. It was fun, we would start out like a legit scuffle/fight and bystanders would be pretty concerned, until suddenly somebody pulled out a powerbomb or nail a flying cross-body off a deck. Lubricated with alcohol, it sometimes escalated pretty quickly. I retired from doing this after my 6'7" 245 lb. friend dropped an elbow on me out of a tree, through a table. It was dumb and hurt like hell but those in attendance still occasionally bring up the memory-- the price of glory!!

How do u know about my backyard fed! ha ha. I used to wrestle in a bouncy castle with my mates. It was called WBW, World Bounce Wrestling. We created characters, storylines, signature moves, spots, promos, just everything. It was fucking awesome. I wish we still did it.

Ours was the PAWF - Pro/AM Wrestling Wederation. We'd have both amateur and pro-style matches. There were only 4 of us though so it wasn't that big. I think I was about 13 at the time. We didn't have any special equipment so we'd just wrestle on the grass. We'd use poles, trees etc as ropes. We'd just grab the pole and launch ourselves back. We all worked really safe and didn't do anything crazy.

WCF...Wrestling Championship Federation...
And we pulled off the Montreal Screwjob way back in August 1994 when we set up an elaborate plot to not allow my cousin to win the World Title, as was expecting to do...

Hardcore Championship Wrestling. Most of the gimmicks were awful.
I had the Slot Machine, which was also a pornstar gimmick. Yes, indeed. We had the Hoodlum, Pimp Daddy something or other, it was awful.

BBW- Big Beautiful Wrestling
We used my friends backyard for our ring
The promotion quickly folded after my friend took a double power bomb onto a HUGE pile of dog shit.

EPW - Extreme Park Wrestling. We pretty much just filmed spots and various bumps. We ended up with a load of stuff and put it together. Here are some clips. Short Clip Full video - Part 2 of 9. The rest are on there too. Some of the stuff was pretty stupid and we're lucky we weren't hurt. Dont try this at home

I kinda wish I did something like this when I was younger. Kinda glad I didn't too.

My friends had a fed called The SXW or Supreme Xtreme Wrestling. We started out in a backyard on a trampoline, then we moved into a garage i have out back of my house and we used mattresses covered in Plywood.
We would make up our own storylines and record our shows.
