I only watch TNA now because it is a habit, I have been doing it for so long that it feels weird if I just stop. The booking and storylines recently have been awful, but I still enjoy the in ring work that is produced every now and again. Howcome you guys still watch it?

I stopped watching just after the "They" angle. Hogan and Bisch have definitely taken from the show. It's full of wrestling cliches when really this is a company that should be trying to find their own style. They cant compete with the WWE at their own game but a different direction could definitely attract a fan base. And although they do have great workers the booking for the TV shows tends to throw in screw-job finishes or angles that take away rather than add.
So while its not a show I watch now, I certainly would be willing to give it a chance. But not while they are doing an authority angle - thats one angle that modern wrestling needs to drop quickly IMO. I really dont care who is in charge.

Well, Hogan needs something to do while he is under contract and having an authority in wrestling now is part of the product, like it or not. Whether it's been Larry Z, Jim Cornette, Mick Foley, Eric Bischoff, Sting or Hulk Hogan in TNA, Vickie Guerrero, Teddy Long, Bret Hart, The Computer, Vince McMahon, HHH or John Laurinitus in WWE. It's always going to have a big part of the show now.
With that said, I watch TNA for the talent and for me the storylines are pretty good. You have a Bobby Roode and James Storm feud that has been building for a better part of 8 months. Austin Aries in the middle of the longest X-Division reign in history (and actually the longest title run in TNA history) where he has had excellent matches with Brian Kendrick, Kid Kash, Alex Shelley, Mark Haskins and many other guys. The tag division is currently in a transitional period but the feuds over those titles get time and dedication. The tag teams in the division are also pretty good as MCMG and Joe/Magnus would fit in very well in ANY tag division in history. Not to mention the Knockouts Division is still head and shoulders above WWE's.
I wouldn't say the TNA product overall is better than WWE or ROH but there are plenty of aspects of the product that I wouldn't be able to enjoy if I didn't watch Impact. I just guess it's that southern-style wrestling booking that WWE does not deliver. Longer feuds. More build. Heel dominated product.

I still try to catch it because it's important to have that alternative, even if they're struggling.
The mistake they made (or are still making, depending on your point of view) is that they're trying to become WCW, a competitor to WWE on equal footing.
And that's not going to happen. What IS going to happen, hopefully, is that over time with patience and a lot of hard work TNA will continue to grow.

And in the era of DVR's, you can easily catch the decent parts of the show (there are some!).

I agree with this completely. And in the era of DVR's, you can easily catch the decent parts of the show (there are some!). This is true, there are a TON of bright spots, it's just that the bad stuff...is just so...DEMANDING of your attention it's easy to forget that. It's something to consider, just how unfair it is to guys like Storm and Roode and AJ and the others to see that their work is overshadowed by the presence of Hogan and Flair and Bischoff. I was in the camp of folks who got really down on TNA because I was looking at them in the context of WCW, a competitor. And they don't compete with WWE, not at all. It's silly to expect them to be up to par with that. I started liking TNA a lot more when I appreciated them for what they were and not what I thought they SHOULD be.

I started watching TNA in late 2005 and I started missing impacts around 2009, came back around for the Monday Night Wars, started missing episodes throughout 2011 and given up completely in late 2011. I still listen to Review-an-iMPACT though. I can't overlook the amount of squandering of talent and meaningless storylines; i've become numb to the decent parts as well (eg Roode), I just can't stand it, I just don't care. It's not worth my time. I don't want to contribute to their ratings and I do like to keep abreast of promotions & enjoy listening to John & Wai so it's my only link. Oh i generally skim through the PPVs but man that's becoming a chore too! At least you don't have much of the idiotic storylines on PPV and if you don't follow them, being presented a PPV isn't that bad. it's also free in UK/Ire

There's a reason I regularly comment on the review-a-wai podcasts, but it's mostly because I work very late Mondays and Fridays. Impact kind of works into the schedule, but catch it an hour after it starts. Oddly enough, I generally finish the show in 60 minutes! I'm curious how much Wai and John actually sit through as well. I couldn't blame them for having a heavy thumb on the FFW button. But until Austin Aries and Bully Ray stop being awesome, the MCMGs get injured again, or Kurt Angle becomes sane, I will follow this product. Oh crap... feeling the inner Danny Powers in me.... just saw a LOL animated gif and Troll face pic post from "Wrestling Memes" pop up in my news feed... must fight the anger.... RAWRRR!!! POWERS SMASH!

Might be more willing to check out a ppv if there was a decent outlet for them. Might...

I download all of TNA whenever new eps are available. I watch it because I prefer it to WWE. I like the element of blood, garbage wrestling, swearing etc. I like wrasslin to have an edge to it ;D

I watch it for Bobby Roode, Bully Ray, Austin Aries, and the possibility that AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Magnus, the Motor City Machine Guns, etc. might be allowed to have good matches here and there. Also, if something ridiculous happens, I'd like to see it to understand what people are talking about.

I watch because I see in TNA is an alternative to the WWE. Granted it hasn't been a very good (or even a very different) alternative for at least 3 years, but I do think their exisitence is good for the wrestling business.
I think TNA's been getting better over the past 6-9 months, and I like that they're finally trying to build new stars like Roode, Storm, & Aries. I also like that they still feature good women's and tag-team wrestling (although it's not as good as it was Pre-Hogan).
Besides, even if I didn't like TNA I'd kinda have to watch it for the purposes of the podcast...lol!
