Who here used to watch Lucha Libre on the TeleLatino Network? I'd watch it occasionally back in the '90s. I remember being so confused by it. It was obvious that the rules were different than what I was used to seeing and everything was in Spanish, so most of the time I had no idea what was going on. Still, it was fun to watch.

I think the differences between lucha and wrestling in other parts of the world are totally understated to new fans who might simply be curious. It's much more about acrobatics and spectacle and less on realism. But yeah, this and Latin Lover were the only things worth watching on TLN back in the day.

I remember saturdays always around 3pm they would show 2 full hours of Luca Libre. That was how I first saw Rey, Psicosis, Heavy Metal, Sasuke, etc.
Wai, Latin Lover still plays

I used to watch it, I liked it even though I can't understand Spanish.

Was Latin Lover the easy way to see boobs around like 9PM on cable?

Lucha really has died down now. Here in D.C. it doesn't even air anymore. Its a shame as AAA has gotten much better quality-wise.
