My least favorite from last year was Over the Limit.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. Wrestlemania last year was the biggest letdown. It wasn't a good show, the crowd was throughout, and had one of the biggest debacles to end the show. The worst 'Mania main event in about 14 years. The only redeemable quality's to that show were the opener, and the excellent HHH/Taker match. JR was also a highlight. And they royally screwed the Cole/Lawler feud. A HUGE let down of a show. The entrances were cool at least.

Yeah WM 27 was pretty disappointing.

There's plenty to choose from.MITB aside, it would've been easier to start a thread naming a decent PPV of 2011.

WrestleMania 27 gets my vote. The only food match was Undertaker vs Triple H. WM 27 I feel is the second worst WrestleMania of all time.

Over the Limit gets my vote.
I would say Wrestlemania was not the worst PPV of 2011, but it was the most disapointing.

Yeh I agree. No way WM was worse than Over the Limit or Capitol Punishment but it didn't deliver obviously.

I can barely remember anything that happened on the majority of those PPVs, I guess that's just a sign that most of them aren't that good.

Honestly, other than MITB were there any really great shows in the WWE last year?
I can't vote for Capitol Punishment (because at least they gave Truth a well-deserved main event payday), and while Mania was dissapointing, it certainly wasn't the worst show.
I'm giving my vote to Night of Champions because of HHH and because the main event wasn't a title match (Hey...If TNA gets knocked for not having resolutions at Final Resolution, then NOC should get docked for not having a championship match in the main event).

If I was to vote for the worst build to a PPV it would be Survivor Series, where they totally pussified the main event heel team and made Rock's first match in 7 years seem run-of-the-mill, and the reason for it nonsensical.

The fact that this poll is widely opinionated in different PPVS, maybe one can say this is one of the worst WWE 12 months as a whole of all time. Other than merchandising, WWE ain't making squat on the buyrates. That's for sure.

Over the Limit was the drizzling shits. I can't believe the way they had John Cena defeat two men who literally destroyed him for 15 minutes only to have him job both men out in 1.
Either that or Night of Champions was pretty frustrating too. Whenever the focus is Triple H it really takes away from the quality of the shows usually.

We should probably post the main events (or entire card) of all these shows for reference... I can't remember many, if any, of these shows.
For those saying WrestleMania 27 was the worst PPV of 2011, I think you're confusing "worst" with "most disappointing" then. There's absolutely no way you thought that a PPV like "Over the Limit" was better than WrestleMania lol c'mon!

I'm gonna go another way and say Vengance. Yes, Wrestlemania was dissapointing, and Over the Limit sucked, but at least Over the Limit had at least one good match(Orton/Christian).
Vengance had no good matches, average at best with Show-Henry, the ring-break was cool for what, the first minute? Not nearly as memorable as when him and Lesnar did it. Just a very boring, C-Level show as the third show within 6 weeks, and it sure showed it.
