I don't have a problem with The Black Keys. If John was like WWE and played shitty nu-metal almost every time then I'd bitch.

I'm thinking that John is probably just not really a music guy in general... I remember one Review he was making fun of the wwe's decision to use Ac/Dc for whatever Wrestlemania they had used it for... He made a comment about them not being relevant, little does John know that Ac/Dc's last album "black ice" debuted at #1 in 29 countries and the tour that followed was the 3rd highest grossing tour of all time. We should be so lucky to hear an awesome band like that as the soundtrack to a wrestling event as opposed to the crap nu-metal/alternative rock and pop top 40 shit we usually have crammed down our throats. How badass would it be to see ac/dc play somebody out at Wrestlemania? Most 'hardcore' music fans will say AC/DC aren't relevant anymore and the only reason they see such high sales is because of their fanbase (the type that buy 3 or 4 albums a year from the supermarket) sure they're still an awesome live act and they've had some great albums in the past but I don't many people that follow music closely truly get excited by an AC/DC release. I remember the WWE played 'The Go! Team' in some Raw last year & I was shocked because that band are actually relevant and modern without being a Top 40 act, but then they reverted bac to Nickleback and I cried. **note** I think the use of AC/DC was actually fine & fit the situation well I think thats one thing the WWE addressed with recent PPV music choices, not that I agree with them or enjoy them as songs, but I'm glad they've gotten out of that horrible Nu-Metal and alternative rock rut they were stuck in because it dated the product soo much. The fact John is aware of a band such as M83 tells he me keeps tabs on the music scene a lot more then your typical AC/DC fans do (this isn't drawing a conclusion that if you 'like' AC/DC then you don't follow music) because a lot of AC/DC fans I meet are the same people that claim music without a guitar isn't real music or that music is dead & only listen to 10 or so bands.

Hang on, he likes The Black Keys and he put on Midnight City by M83 & you say he has bad taste in music? Uhmmmm, okay Music taste is subjective anyways, unless it's Nu-Metal or Nickleback obviously PS: Aqua do have a couple of great songs, believe it or not, preparing people looking at me strange right now! Agreed. Half these clowns wouldn't know good music if Jack White crawled up their asses and died.

His music taste is just fine with me. From playing Nine Inch Nails, M83, Band of Horses & Tegan and Sara...its all subjective to what you're interested in.

I'm a HUGE Meat Loaf fan. You can't get lower than that.
