Firstly, I think the music at the end of Review-A-Wai should have some tie-in to the show that is being discussed. The "here's a song I bought this week" thing isn't as much fun.
But anyway, my main point...
John's taste in music is abysmal.
Dude, The Black Keys? They look like an uncool pair of college boys in $2 plaid shirts and nerd glasses. I've heard teenagers in garages who sound just like them, if not better.
I've never understood the appeal of weedy rockstars who dress like homeless people and play noisy, sloppy rubbish.

Black Keys have some good tunes. His pick of Midnight City I like but I would say just play the saxophone solo at the end of the song because that is pure boss

I don't mind his tastes in music, I share his love for Aqua as well!

If John comes in here and defends his taste in music I'm gonna laugh.... ;D

Black Keys are fine. I was kind of startled by their sudden popularity, they had that song Thickfreakness on an old Warped Tour compilation CD way back when and I didn't think anything of it. Now they are hip and popular as hell. Good for them.
I tend to enjoy the music John ends the podcasts with. I also like how the Nitro episode ended with a moment of zen/stinger.

I always listen to there podcasts going to sleep and the song at the end always wakes me up. Rather there not be any ending song!

Look, Black Keys are the Beatles compared to N Sync and Aqua.

Everyone likes a certain kind of music. John can enjoy whatever songs he wants to, Its his life! It doesn't affect me one way or another. Carry on Mr. Pollock.

Who is anyone to say "his music taste sucks?" One man's junk is another man's treasure.
Im pretty sure 99% of the population would hate some of my favourite bands.

Honestly I enjoy the music selection during the show, I mean you could make it all metal, or make it all wrestling themes, but then someone else will create a thread complaining about those.

I like the idea that one listener suggested, ending review-a-wai with a song that was popular that year.

I always listen to there podcasts going to sleep and the song at the end always wakes me up. Rather there not be any ending song! Agreed. The songs usually make me grown and/or stop the podcast.

I much prefer the variety of of R-A-W vs the constant nu-metal and hardcore of the LAW, but even that is starting to change. I know the LAW tries to be a high-energy show but I find some of the hard music to be a little jarring for late Sunday nights
Also, @ Andrew - I agree I often fall asleep during podcasts and the music at the end scares the shit out of me!
Also, The Black Keys kick ass and always have. But I'm not gonna get into a debate over musical tastes, if you don't dig em, cool.
