I wanted to know if any one remembers here when they attended their first WWE show. Also what matches do you remember? How old where you? Where Was It? Who did you go with?
Check out thehistoryofwwe.com as they have tons of house show cards thats what helped me.
Mine was May 27th 1989 at the Saddledome here in Calgary. I would have been 2 1/2 years old at the time it was one of my earliest memories. I remember my brother was sick or something so my Dad took me instead. Here is the card according to thehistoryofwwe.com
The Blue Blazer defeated Bad News Brown via disqualification The Red Rooster defeated the Brooklyn Brawler The Barbarian pinned Jim Neidhart Rick Martel pinned Tito Santana Roddy Piper pinned Ted Dibiase WWF Tag Team Champions Demolition defeated the Big Bossman & Akeem via disqualification Randy Savage defeated WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan via count-out.
I remember the Randy Savage Vs Hulk Hogan match.
So please share your memories of the first time you saw the WWE Live.

Mine was a Smackdown taping in Toronto, around 2003 I think, it was the one where Kurt Angle and John Cena had a battle rap.

My first WWE event isn't listed on that site. It was September 1, 1987 at the Welland Arena in Welland ON. The matches I can remember off the top of my head are:
IC Title match: The Honkytonk Man (C) vs Jake The Snake Roberts Women's title match: Sensational Sherri (C) vs The Fabulous Moolah Nikolai Volkoff vs Brutus The Barber Beefcake (subbing for Macho Man Randy Savage, who was apparently subbing for Hulk Hogan in Vancouver) The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase vs Koko B. Ware Demolition vs The Killer Bees Chavo Guerrero Sr vs Frenchy Martin

Mine was Wrestlemania III, in Michigan. This is what made me a Wrestling fan, before the show I had heard of Hulk Hogan but that was it, and I was only 5, but afterwords I was hooked. I think my parents got me a PWI subscription after I got home. My only real concrete memory of it were the mini ring carts that would take the wrestlers to and from the ring.

My first WWE show was on Feb 16, 1991 at the old Civic Auditorm in Oshawa where the main event was Ultimate Warrior vs Sgt Slaughter for the WWE Title inside a Steel Cage. I remember Undertaker being there which this was the first time Paul Bearer showed up. I enjoyed it.

It was called WWF and it was at the Meadowlands in NJ. WWF @ East Rutherford, NJ - Meadowlands. It was sometime in 1984 or 85. I saw Ivan Putski, the Missing Link, Bundy, Sheik, Hogan, JYD. I remember being absurdly excited. I think I still have to program, I need to look up the date. I was in 5th or 6th grade. Went with my friend and his dad who had access to a luxury box!
I also fondly remember this show. My favorite wrestling memory: 6/22/85 Meadowlands AWA: I saw Sgt Slaughter VS Kamala in a steel cage bootcamp match! They stretchered Kamala out afterward. It was amazing.

Birmingham (UK) around '93/'93 ish. The main event was Mr Perfect defeating Lex Luger when perfect got his shoulders up from a German Suplex pin but Luger, whom delivered the move, had his shoulders on the mat.
I was on my seat in anger and then joy that my favourite had won!

March 1996- The Main Event was Shawn/Diesel VS Taker/Bret in MSG when Diesel double crossed HBK and the footage was shown on Raw the next night and used in their feud for Good Friends Better Enemies. This was when major angles actually took place on house shows and I was excited to have witnessed a significant moment at the age of 9.
