Bring out Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Sgt. Slaughter and have them beat up two Mexican wrestlers with the crowd chanting USA. When it comes to race relations WWE certainly is a blast from the past.
As for the Bellas Alicia Fox looked like she botched that suplex (would anyone be surprised?)
So overall on this show we saw two jobber tag teams face each other, another jobber get squashed, another jobber in a mixed gender 6-person tag, Foley wasted in a horrible botched spot with Jimmy Hart and Mean Gene in the main event. Then the dead crowd for Michael Cole's finish. What a horrible, horrible show.

at the end of the show i thought, that wwe threw everything they can into 1 episode of smackdown, to make sheamus look good, funny, strong, popular, like real championship-material. - poor dude is now under probation and could be strapped of titel as well as 500k - has to fight handicap-match and still smiles and jokes around (cena-fans this guy is for you too) - surrounded by the legends, gives back credibility to wht and gives him great spotlight. - he became everyone's darling within 2 hours kk. to be honest i missed something. pipers pit wasn't so good. piper had to deliver some pro-aj propaganda. bryans reaction to pipers verbal offences was quite good. he stayed calm and had a bad smile on his face. anyway. after sending aj away from the ring, bryan should have attacked piper and/or even hurt him with the labell lock. (maybe keep holding piper until 4 refs force bryan to release the labell lock). without seeing that i honestly expected bryan to do that attack against mean-gene during mainevent. didn't happen either. bryan would have heeled up with the crowd quite well, by showing a vicious side. Bring out Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Sgt. Slaughter and have them beat up two Mexican wrestlers with the crowd chanting USA. When it comes to race relations WWE certainly is a blast from the past. especially for people from germany, patriotism like that looks very very negative. i know americans have a complete different (positive) relation to patriotism, while over here / for us behaviour like that looks pretty bad and kind of racist. i certainly don't disrespect such patriotism, as it is part of american culture. but that's an example how different cultures deal with that matter in different ways. diversity of cultures rulez *g

Well listening to the Review-a-Smackdown led me to the new LAWRADIO boards, so SD couldn't be all bad. That and HotRod.

Jesus christ what a pointless piece of crap. I was more disappointed with the Star Wars Impact but this was close. "Blast from the Past" with an 80s font, I understand some people expected to see like the vintage Raw. I thought that'd be kinda stupid, but I DID expect to see Vintage Smackdown, the old set and video screens and stuff. At the very least, put some money into it. This is yet another example of Smackdown clearly being the B show, Raw isn't perfect but I pretty much feel no reason to watch SD on a weekly basis.
All they did was have 5-6 50+ year olds walking around and of course I guess Hacksaw had some free time and decided he could fit in a booking. Nice to see Sarge has lost some weight, he was never in great shape but he had kinda ballooned for a while there.
