i like brodus, i know the gimmick is bad but it's entertaining, saw it live and marked out... tensai was flat, they're really pulling the rug out from under him by pretending no one knows who he is

They mentioned he was an ex-WWE wrestler that went to Japan. It is flat though and it was reflected in this weeks ratings.
In the segment-by-segment, Brodus Clay & Santino Marella vs. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger lost 99,000 viewers. Backstage with Laurinaitis with Miz an Cena, Marella looking for the Three Stooges and R-Truth vs. Cody Rhodes gained 255,000 viewers. Lord Tensai vs. Yoshi Tatsu lost 415,000 viewers. The mic work between C.M. Punk and Chris Jericho in the top of the hour segment gained 379,000 viewers to a 3.19. Punk vs. Henry and the post-match with Jericho pouring beer all over Punk, as well as the quick Del Rio vs. Ryder match lost 169,000 viewers. The Three Stooges in-ring segment lost 240,000 viewers and was the low point of the show at 2.90. The Brock Lesnar interview gained 423,000 viewers. And the Cena vs. Otunga match with Lesnar run-in gained 301,000 viewers, which is a very weak overrun number, finishing at 3.42.

Funkasaurus will always be there for comic relief, they can always use him and he's such an easy character to put across

Ryback His gimmick is great and really came off wonderfully with the live crowd.

I am saying Ryback but it all depends on how the WWE books him. Right now it seems they trying the Goldberg gimmick with short quick squash matches. It will look more impressive if he does it to mid card guys rather than jobbers

Ryberg has potential to be hot until he eventually becomes a victim of parity booking, but I think the Sandow character has the most long term potential.

Ryback has potential , I definitely agree with the if he keeps it up moving onto the midcard and beyond.Could workout well...Could being the key word. Sandow I just don't care atm it doesn't interest me , I had forgotten him until I saw him mentioned. Not writing him off before a match though. Tensai ah makes no sense really to me , he was Albert/A-Train went to Japan and is now a Lord , a Lord of what exactly. Brodus is fine comedy role for now.
I reckon Ryback has the best chance , even though Sandow hasn't debuted yet.

And finally Lord Tensai - he could work, he really could. The guy made himself a legitimate star in Japan and his slow paced style could eventually get him over. The problem is the majority of WWE fans don't realise there are other promotion outside of WWE, so have never seen him in Japan and only remember him as Albert - whether they accept the gimmick change or not will determine his fate, and at the minute they're rejecting it. The dislike of Tensai has nothing to do with an appreciation, or lack thereof, of puro. Wai talked about this the other day - they have made the man into a cartoon and a joke. Whatever appeal that Bloom may have had coming in has been squandered on an idiotic, badly-executed gimmick that is not getting over. If Bloom had come in as Albert or someone with a normal name that's packaged differently and not some Kwang 2.0 mess, he'd have a lot better chance of succeeding. As it is now, though, he comes across as a bad parody act.

thats it exactly, Bring him back as Albert and show old stuff of him killing guys(maybe leave out the hip hop hippo). When it was announced Cena would face Lord Tensai, the crowd didnt give a flyin crap.

Would be great if Funkasauras became the next Rikishi, but I don't see that happening.

The Tensai vs Cena match would have been a million times more effective IMO had it been Ryback. Though I guess with Ryback he would actually have to win decisively not mist for the cheat win.
