Seems to be a good amount of hype around these two shows this weekend.
NXT War Games
*War Games - Authors of Pain/Roderick Strong vs Sanity vs Undisputed Era *Ember Moon vs Kairi Sane vs Niki Cross vs Peyton Royce *Drew McIntyre vs Andrade Almas *Aleister Black vs Velveteen Dream *Kassius Ohno vs Lars Sullivan
Survivor Series
*Brock Lesnar vs AJ Styles *Angle/Strowman/Balor/Samoa Joe/HHH vs Shane/Orton/Roode/Cena/Nakamura *Fox/Jax/Banks/Asuka/Bayley vs Lynch/Carmella/Naomi/Tamina/TBA *The Shield vs The New Day *Miz vs Baron Corbin *Cesaro/Sheamus vs The Usos *Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte *Enzo vs Kalisto
To fill up the preshow, I am expecting some time of other elimination match to be added. Cruiserweight perhaps?

all 5 heels vs all 5 faxes of the cruiserweight division that isn't tied to Enzo...rough. Both shows look great....Survivor Series looks epic on paper...I'm looking forward to New Day/Shield and Sheasaro/Usos the most. Obviously Brock/AJ isn't far behind. Wargames looks to have no roof, which I'm fine with...Sid showed us what powerbomb can do if you have a roof

Well, Vince didn't want a stinkin' roof so there won't be a stinkin' roof. No worries for me though. So this means we're sure to have one badass top of the cage elbow drop by Eric Young.

Randy has won 4 survivor series matches in his career : 2003-2004-2005-2016. That is the record. They could make it a thing.

I'm fine with no roof. It didn't add to much to the matches of the past. Both shows look pretty solid. Even with all the changes to Survivor Series it still feels like a big show.

I could be wrong, but I think in all of Orton's matches he was a Survivor. Tito wasn't.
Going to have to miss War Games live which is a shame.

You can also add 2008 to Orton as him & Cody survived their match. RKing85 is right, Orton has been a survivor in all those mentioned matches whereas Tito has just been on the winning side but not a survivor every time. Orton went undefeated in elimination matches at Survivor Series for 3 years, it could have been the beginning of a new streak!

Yes, that was Orton's gimmick in his 2003-2005 survivor series run, to be the the sole or one of the survivors at the end.

WarGames was a fun show.. sucks about McIntyres injury. Raw and Smackdown have to follow that show.
Velveteen Dream/Aleister Black had the motn imo

Crowd were so in to Dream, he's gone up in my estimation. The War Games match was really good though. Wolf was a bloody mess. Proper good show overall.

Sucks that Drew got injured.....but so glad the title is off of him. He was doing nothing what so ever for me as champ. And I liked him on the indies. Don't see Almas as a long term champ. At best I think he lasts til Philly Takeover on Rumble weekend.
The main event of the Survivor Series......I can't remember the last time I was that disappointed in a match.

Loved both shows for different reasons. While by now i get that the formula for NXT shows are going to be repetitive because it'S mostly based on work rate and high spot instead of doing a more saves style like on the main roster, i still did enjoyed most of the takeover war games show, except for the opening match which i really hated. I really can't get into Lars sullivan at all. The war games match was really good but if i had to nit pick, it felt more like a normal steel cage match then an actual war games match. What i mean by that is that they had 2 rings to play with and for a really good portion of the match beyond, all 9 participants were in the same ring beating each other up. I don't get why they needed the second ring if they wouldn't take advantage of it like in previous wargames in WCW.
As for Survivor series, i thought it was an really strong show. You know now who are the main focus on raw going into mania season as for smackdown they had some pretty good showing as well. I loved the lesnar vs Styles match and Corbin vs Miz was better then i expected. So these were my 2 highlights for this show. Still hoping that after what happens at the end of the show that they won't do Strowman vs HHH at the rumble but have HHH finish his feud with angle first and then have him paired up with Strowman as mania.
