I would like to add my voice to the chorus of those who say they will follow John, Wai, Jason, Braden, (Mouth?), wherever they go and would wholeheartedly support a reboot of their work in some other form.

And Dan is gone too? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " Well, all good things must come to an end. Even though I didn't know it when I was doing it, last night was my final night hosting The LAW. Thanks to everyone that supported us over the past two decades. Well, at least I now know what it's like to be "future endeavoured."

Someone must pay for this miscarriage of justice.

Thanks to the entire LAW crew for all the audio they have produced over the years. Especially John and Wai for all the extra shows they did as well. If I put all the LAW audio I have ever listened to back to back and played it 24 hours a day, it would take months to get through.
Thank you to everyone in the LAW family.

The LAW is dead... Long live whatever new family of podcasts they create together! (I hope).

It would be nice to know what exactly happened and why, but they will definitely ALL be missed.

The Wrestling Observer has something up on it's Daily News Update and it certainly looks like what was suspected is the case.
Does anyone know who owns the rights to these Podcasts.

This is crushing. I've been listening to the LAW for years, and more importantly John and Wai who feel like somehow audio brothers to me. I don't participate on the board much, but these guys and this group are the only people I really talk wrestling with. I went to the live mania meetup in Dallas, met john and wai at an In N Out burger in San Jose after that mania...I just can't get enough of their shows. I was bummed when Review a Wai went to bi-weekly, but I've loved Keep it 2000, so I was cool with it. But now this?
I'm gonna be frank, I'm not the biggest Agnew fan, I listen to Whats NXT, but it's a show I miss if I don't have time or it's too old in my queue, but that's also partly because I don't really watch NXT. I like Jason as a host of the LAW, because he's a real pro, knows exactly what he's doing and it comes across.
I could do without Mouth, honestly I find him kind of annoying, some of the things he says really piss me off...not his opinions, but saying things like "then the basic finish came" for EVERY MATCH EVER RECAPPED, just kinda get on my nerves. But I'll give him credit for doing it for so many years for what is probably $0 or close to it. I can't imagine these guys make much money for this radio show.
We all know John/Wai were making no money on the podcasts, I give these guys all the credit in the world for doing them. The shows evolved, they changed shows, brought in more shows, more guests/co-hosts and I loved all of it. Wai and John are clearly best friends and it always comes across that way. Things change when people have kids, and I chalked up the recent changes in just John not having time to do the LAW on Sundays, but he was still doing the other shows, so still cool. But to have this guy lose his job is real shit. To be honest, I couldn't believe there was a channel employing what seems like a decent size staff who's sub fee was $2.99 a month, obviously there's more to it than that, but John was on everything it seems at FN and to turf him is like getting rid of one of your top guys. It's happening all over media, mostly print though. I'd hope John lands on his feet maybe creating his own site? Honestly, he could probably with Dave Meltzer and freshen up the Observer and maybe take it over one day...if that's something he wants to do. Wai is super talented and funny, I'm sure he'll find a new camera gig somewhere, at least he's not from Vancouver, there's plenty more TV jobs in Toronto than out west.
All the best to everyone, we are YOUR fans, we'll follow. If you kill the shows, we'll all be bummed, but you guys gotta get yours, find a good landing spot and reset. No one will ever shit on you guys if the shows have to die off.
To the rest of the fans out there, I WAS archiving this stuff for a long time, then kinda fell off. PLEASE tell me someone has EVERY SINGLE LAW SHOW available on an HDD somewhere, because I'd bet it's only a matter of time before they just fall from the servers. The archive links now are already a bit of a mess, but I know there was a long time when they were all in working order.
Hopefully even if this is the end, we can keep the boards up, keep an archive open and all continue to enjoy these great shows that we all loved.
Best of luck to everyone. Sorry for the length of the post, but this...this just sucks.

Do they not own the LAW? They’ve taken in to several different stations?

As someone who has listened to John, Wai, Jason, Dan, Braden and lest we forget Bartender Dave for many years today's announcement feels like a death in the family. I'm finding it difficult to put how I feel into words. I'm truly going to miss The Law of family shows.
ps.
Let's not forget the contributions from the likes of Dave Meltzer, Jimmy Korderas, WH Park, Chris Charlton and Jo Jo Remy as well.

Do they not own the LAW? They’ve taken in to several different stations? They most likely sold their ownership to Anthem. Its done. I hope the guys hook up with MLW or Podcastone with Jericho and make their own shows.
