I thought that maybe we, as a collective, could come up with a Top 10 list of the most iconic moments in wrestling history.
What are some iconic moments that stick out in your mind? It could be from any promotion and any era. But it should be some kind of lasting or defining moment in wrestling history.
And please keep it to scripted wrestling. We all know that the Chris Benoit tragedy was huge for the industry (albeit in a negative way) but in any regard those are not the kinds of moments I'm looking for. I want something from within the context of a scripted wrestling show.
Have at it!!

#1. Not the Curtain Call, no matter what the WWE Network says
(I'll participate for real later, but this was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the subject)

Agree with lots of these really. Also add...
Barbershop window Undertaker debut in 1990 Flair with the WCW title when he went to WWE, and they kept blurring the screen Jake/Savage snakebite Savage vs Warrior retirement match. Was huge for me when I was a kid Taker retiring HBK

I'm surprised nobody said Peyton and Billie.

I guess it was kind of scripted, although not all of the players were made aware. At any rate I'd probably leave it out because it's not exactly what I was looking for. Maybe replace it with the Barbershop Window or CM Punk's promo?

I'd also add Steve Austin winning King Of The Ring and giving the "Austin 3:16" promo to the list, and The Rock's "This is your life" segment. Maybe Angle with the milk truck or Austin with the beer truck too?

Angle with the milk is just a repeat of Austin with the beer. I'd personally go with Austin as he did it first.

Some from my WWE-centric mind...
- Wrestlemania - Hogan/Andre at Wrestlemania III - Bret/Austin at Wrestlemania 13 - Undertaker/Mankind Hell in a Cell - Montreal Screwjob (if it counts here... I contend that since it was the finish of a major PPV main event, it does count even if it's a grey area) - "I'm sorry, I love you"
I know it's hard to judge these things in the present, but what's the MOST RECENT moment that you think might be on this list one day? I feel like Daniel Bryan's retirement was a good one, but as it becomes more and more apparent that he has not wrestled his last match, that incredible promo loses some of its shine. Another Daniel Bryan one is his title win at Wrestlemania XXX (best call of Michael Cole's career, by the way) which also lost something because of the direction his career has gone since then.

Edge's Retirement slightly over Bryan's only because Edge's was a natural shock, while Bryan's tweeted it online the earlier in the day.
