Easily one of the worst segments of all time.
HORRIBLE writing, made zero sense and has all but killed Bayley.
Are we to believe that Bayley actually brought her dad to school, her best friend thought she was a loser because she watched RAW and Smackdown (LOL) and that her boyfriend almost kissed her dad?
Bayley then comes down, doesnt say anything and gets her ass kicked.
Alexa was about as good as you can be but this whole idea was just atrocious, some of the worst writing I think we've ever seen. These people need to start saying no to ideas like this. It's killing careers.
What were they trying to achieve with this segment? Everyone is way less over than before and none of it made any sense.
And can we please stop calling segments "this is your life". Comparing Foley and Rock to two green women is a recipe for disaster.
Another pointless go home show where nothing happened last night but the Bliss segment was just some of the worst crap I've seen.

Yeah seems it was intentionally terrible, but not in a fun or good way, it was just shit.
I'm sick of the Bayley character now, they've done what we all thought was impossible - fucked a character that had so much upside. I just pray they don't do the same with Nakamura.

It's one thing for us to say they should just say no but it's very different if you're actually involved, I imagine at least. I'm not defending the segment but let's be honest, we'll forget about it in a matter of weeks. I wouldn't say it was one of the worst of all time, at least not yet.

It's just another bad segment, and that's the problem, there's so many of them!

It's the same story for a while now, the main roster never really grasped what worked in NXT with them. You can't even stay it's that NXT crowd as we've seen with Takeovers that they work in a bigger arena all over the place.

When does that change? Once Vince and his cronies are gone?

They're already doing it with Nakamura talking about Smackdown being his playground - or Nakamura even talking at all. It exposes him horribly. After last week he just feels like another guy to me. Hell the guy could barely beat Ziggler, Dolph was on offence for like 80 per cent of that match.
There's just no way that Bliss should have ever been scripted to lead an entire segment like that. And then you handicap her by giving her just some of the worst material written on a WWE program.
How could Bliss or Bayley read this garbage and just go along with it? Like how does the Emmalina character get scrapped because she wasn't talented enough to pull it off but this gets through???
They should care or speak out more, it's their careers. Bayley now gets zero reaction when she comes out and Alexa gets what-ed to death.
Really it was probably the worst segment I can remember since the New Day time machine, and probably the worst scripted long segment I can ever remember.

It feels too late for Bayley but I don't think they've completely destroyed Nakamura yet. If that's any kind of silver lining.

I think things would change if they had some connection between the booking team for NXT and the main roster. Or at least have them talk to each other more often.
I also would not write off Nakamura either. He's on a show that made Jinder Mahal WWE champion for the sole reason of they think India would like it. And for what it's worth on a WWE.com poll about who would beat Jinder for the title, Nakamura won. The guy is a fantastic in ring talent and just has to find his voice, it's similar to when AJ debuted last year. He wasn't anything to special at first but look at him now. WWE are more than capable of making a guy when they truly want it.

Nakamura isn't going to all of a sudden lose his accent and become a good promo in english. It's simple, if they make the guy talk as much as they make other main eventers talk he will flop.
The only guy they've got over in the last year was Strowman, who squashed jobbers to make him seem like a big deal. Nakamura barely beating Ziggler and going 50/50 with other main event guys will do nothing. He needs to be established first, but WWE acts like everyone and their dog watches NXT religiously - they dont.
Another sad thing about last night, three guys decided to do phoenix splashes in meaningless matches in front of a dead crowd and none of them won a match. RAW is just a complete mess right now.

Nakamura wearing the mouthpiece hampers his promos more than his accent.
Bayleys life sucked, if that were her life....I'd advocate ending it. So what were the main points? She's a doll playing retard who has separation anxiety and would rather watch wrestling than hang with friends....what a loser.

Exactly. Plus, she always gets outsmarted and had to have help from Sasha to win the title.
So why are we supposed to cheer for her?

WWE don't know how to book faces anymore.....too worried about how certain tried and true face shit gets them heat with their core audience of actual losers who think they know what booking is.
All you can do now is try make them sympathetic.....explain extended beatings and overcoming at the end being the only other option used nowadays.

Overscripting is the biggest problem. They know how to book babyfaces, they just don't know how to script them to sound or act like real people.

Scripting being a problem is such a fallacy....if a performer is good, they take the words and use it to its maximum effect.
Actors can take shitty dialogue and make chicken salad out of chicken shit.....the old cliche still applies today.
Maybe these performers need to work on their acting skills instead of playing pro wrestler.
Guess what? the days of "I'm mad at you, so I'm gonna beat you this Monday night at the local armory on June the 25th" bullet points are dead and gone.
Because that's not what the job entails anymore.
