The Mae Young classic has been announced. So how will the ring ropes be dressed?
The primary colours have been taken by RAW, SMACKDOWN, NXT, the CRUISERWEIGHTs have purple. That leaves us with WHITE like the straps on the title, BLACK, or PINK like they use for October. You can't really make a case for green or orange. My bet is on Pink.

They like to associate white with women. It looks clean, pure, and, like you said, the Women's Titles are already white.
I'd bet they want to reserve pink for October and keep it special. They've invested too much into the Susan G Komen partnership and its pink branding.

These women should show titties in honor of Mae Young.

White.
With a sprinkle of red on their future monthly PPVs/network specials.
God, this is gonna get me banned.

They didn't do special ropes for the UK tournament. I'd be fine if they didn't for this. Otherwise we'll have episodes of Raw where the ropes colour is changed 5 times in a night.

Don't think they'll get their division. They'll just pick some and put them in the regular RAW and SD divisions.

PWInsider is reporting that there will be a strong female presence on these shows. There's talks of having female commentators, to go along with JR, and maybe even female referees. Rene Young did do some commentating back in NXT and I did like her work so it would be cool to hear her back behind the table. Besides that I'm worried about anyone else on that team, because let's be honest WWE loves that 3 person booth. Again PWInsider are saying Lita or Beth Phoenix could be doing it as well but I don't think they'd be anything special as they were never famous for their personality.

I like the idea of female commentators. Perhaps Renee can be consistently at the table with JR, and with a 2nd female making "special guest appearances" until someone sticks. There are plenty of good possible candidates, some more likely than others but, all with different good things to offer.
Sunny, Sable, AJ Lee, Vickie Guerrero, Stephanie McMahon, Trish, Molly, Jacqueline, Alundra, Beth, Lita, Paige, Maria Menounos, as well as some current talent.
Most of them are good talkers and have kept close to the business.
Either way, should be a fun tournament!

I'd honestly be fine with just Rene & JR. I don't see a problem with a 2 man booth, it was perfect for the CWC and the UK shows. Plus having recently watched Takeover you start to feel like some are being shoe horned in. Honestly what did Percy Watson add? Outside of long sections of silence and then a generic sound bite.

Beth Phoenix showed she could talk in sound bytes very succintly.
Renee Young is so washed these days people are playing Pai Gow behind her.

I'd suggest Molly Holly with JR.

From what I read earlier tonight, Jessicka Havok & LuFisto have been asked to take part in the Mae Young Classic.
Which is awesome. I'm really hoping that LuFisto gets involved in the tournament.
