- I still don't get the red carpet pre-show. Isn't it supposed to happen outside the venue? It makes WWE look cheap.
- DDP is an awesome guy and, IMO, should have closed the show. 40 plus minutes worth of stories with every possible emotion thrown in.
- God bless Morton and the ever lasting mullet. Cornette was self contained and will probably get another chance with WWE. If he cares about it, that is. No doubt the Midnight are getting in next year.
- I don't want to diminsh Beth's career but I trully cannot recall any one of her matches. Seems like WWE is running out of Divas to induct. Next year? By the look of it I say Chyna but Candice Michelle's surgeon surely did a hell of a job and needs consideration. If they put Kelly Kelly in I'll probably consider cutting my wrists.
- The Warrior Award was what it was supposed to be and I hope people donate to the cause.
- Teddy was straight and to the point.
- I'd have preferred Bret Hart to induct Rude since they were close but the company probably felt he'd just start talking about himself for 30 minutes. Still, Steamboat looked awkward and was basically reading from a script.
- Kurt was funny. Had his moments but not the best final speech in HOF history.
Your thoughts?

What flew by me was the fact there was no official celebrity inductee this year. I do agree with you that Beth doesn't really have those big moments in here career but she was always a more than able worker who shined during a time when they were so ex-model obsessed with their hiring. I think Chyna will go in next year, in a strange way think they want to give it a year so all the possible negative things about her can be forgotten. As for Rude, don't think many think of Bret when they think of Rude. You would have wanted Warrior really or I'd say Sting. He had a really long feud with Sting in WCW. Steamboat did make some sense but he's not the best talker.

I see Chyna as the female inductee over Mickie, Mickie will go in but I don't see it next year. It's the WWE hall at the end of the day, you can make an argument for & against anyone going in. Look at Earthquake for example, got a hell of a push right out the gate in WWE, main event program with Hogan and a tag title run but then pretty much did little of note from 92 onwards outside of being a Shark. I mean Koko B.Wares in there so anyone could go in.

Beth Phoenix had the speech of the night.....Until Kurt Angle came out.
Cornette talked longer than most inductees. Robert Gibson looks like a balder Mike Tenay nowadays. And their mullets remind me that is what big beards will be thought of in a few years.
I enjoyed the ceremony, all aspects. From pushing storylines on the pre show, to the stories and legit feels I got from certain speeches.
Rick Rude's son looked and sounded like he missed his calling.
It's stuff like this, that pays for the network itself, I don't think I'd feel the same way if it was the old condensed version we used to get on USA/Sportsnet 360.

Beth Phoenix had the speech of the night.....Until Kurt Angle came out. Beth was great. So confident and seems like a sweet gal. The only thing I don't agree with is naming an award after Warrior. Given the racist, homophobic and generally disgraceful comments the guy came out with over the years, I'm amazed that WWE wants anything to do with the scumbag. Then again, I'm not surprised at all.

I might be the only one in the world with this opinion and I don't care (and I realise there is 0% chance of it ever happening).....
no fans at the HOF. Fuck do they ever piss me off. You could legit cut 30-40 minutes off the show length if there wasn't all the pauses for fans doing their stupid fucking chants.

We take the HOF for what it is and enjoy the genuine people who deserve a real pat on the back for the great work they've done. Then we role our eyes at rapists, homophobes, racists and bully's that take centre stage.

WWE just got the best of the Warrior deal. Each year people will go to the network to watch the same 3 or 4 good matches he had and this award sends a positive message.
Next inductee? Trump for building a wall to "contain the hate and let love run free".
You know I'm joking, right?

It's just because it an idea that Warrior mentioned in his speech so doing it without acknowledging him would be hard. I do agree that they gloss over some of the horrible things he did and say but that happens a lot when someone passes away.

I enjoyed the Hall of Fame. Thought Beth, DDP and Kurt all had awesome speeches. And its about damn time Ravishing Rick Rude got into the Hall of Fame. Cornette and the Rock'N'Roll Express on WWE television was also amazing. So was Teddy Long. Great show!
Hopefully next year we see Owen Hart and Bulldog get in. It's long overdue.

They might include the entire Hart Foundation since Owen, Bulldog and Pillman are dead.
I can also see the nWo being inducted down the line. All 349 members of it. And Virgil too.

It'll be the original 3 when they feel it's safe to have Hogan back. Virgil should never be in any hall of fame ever, that would be taking the joke too far.
